If you’ve been to SM Megamall lately then for sure you’ve noticed Chelsea Kitchen in the Fashion Hall. Right by the entrance and very well lit because of the natural lighting pouring in, you can’t help but be attracted to it. I’d been wanting to dine there for some time and I finally got my chance and on my birthday weekend no less!
Chelsea Kitchen is under Raintree Restaurants which has also brought us Museum Cafe, Kabila, Saboten, Chelsea Grand Cafe, and Terraz to name a few. Having just opened in September of 2014 they’ve already made their mark being the go to restaurant for comfort food.
I’ll be sharing with you the dishes we tried and some of the other dishes being offered. Don’t forget to join my birthday giveaway at the bottom of this post and get a chance to win GCs to Chelsea Kitchen and sister restaurants Chelsea Grand Cafe and Saboten.
The restaurant is in an open area and has different seating arrangements and themes. This is where you can sit if you’d like to go for casual.
A round table setting is good for group conversations and even meetings.
In the back area they have a more reserved seating arrangement but still comfy.
The decor will remind you of home but with a modern twist.
Their cakes are on display for you to choose from and they always have their best sellers available.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. We each have something we favored (surprisingly with the drinks and dessert) but when I asked what their favorite dish was they couldn’t name one dish since all the dishes were delicious.
All dishes are actually good for sharing and you can share up to 3 people even depending on appetites. They also have The Family Table offering with Mains and Sharing Sides.
Kitchen Bites
Kitchen Bites has quite a lot to offer from breads, to onion rings to nachos and even chicharon.
Truffled Gravy Fresh Cut Fries (Php275)
We started off with this appetizer which had 2 kinds of sauce, gravy and cheese.
Sandwiches & Fries
You’ve got good choices when it comes to their sandwiches which are all served with fresh cut fries that are made daily. Interesting to try would be the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Burger or the Open Faced B.L.T Deluxe.
Ultimate Grilled Cheese (Php295)
Grilled cheese sandwiches are my fave! This sandwich is overloaded in size and the gooey cheese! The bread is really thick (which I love but get alot of flack from the family about- I think you had to have grown up eating this kind of bread to fully appreciate the size and toughness!) and just half the sandwich will already make you full.
It’s served with a side of roasted tomato cappucino soup and a cone of fries which Jael gobbled up.
12″ Stone Fired Pizza
Surprisingly these pizzas are large in size at an affordable price. Also good for sharing the best thing about Chelsea Kitchen Pizzas are that you can have 2 or more kinds of pizzas in one pan!
Three Cheese & Bacon Hawaiian (Split Pan) Php320
We tried their bestseller and must try pizzas and it did not disappoint. The crust is soft and chewy and toppings are very flavorful. We enjoyed this very much.
Pasta to Share
As I write this I seem to realize that 3 of our dishes were truffled. Truffle Oil enhances the flavor of the dishes. When it comes to pastas Chelsea Kitchen has the perfect one for everyone. There are those that favor white, red or dry pasta and here you can order carbonara, rigatoni, aglio olio, lasagna and bolognese. A must try is there Squid Ink and Clams. Something for us to try on our next trip!
Truffled Mac N Cheese (Php310)
The Truffled Mac and Cheese is creamy and just the right amount, too. Jael enjoyed this and being another dish to share we were all able to try it though Jael took the major portion. A perfect dish for kids.
Truffled Mushroom Cream & Bacon Spaghetti (Php320)
This truffled pasta dish is deemed a bestseller and I can see why. The creamy sauce, mushroom and bacon bits are just the right amount to give balance to flavor.
Kitchen Licks
Drinks from their Kitchen Licks are diverse mixing flavors and coming up with crafted refreshments.
Watermelon Pineapple and Mint Refresher (Php160)
Kianna opted for this drink because she loves watermelon and mint and her best friend loves pineapples. Definitely a unique taste which Kianna loved.
The Fountain
Another childhood favorite that has found itself to being an adult favorite as well! From The Fountain you have shakes, malts and floats to choose from. The milkshakes are extra thick and creamy. Of the two I liked the Chocolate Milo Malt.

Over at the dessert counter there are quite a few cakes to choose from. From your simple cookies and milk to the sinful Pieces Pieces made of Reeses Pieces peanut butter!

If I’ll be given a chance to try one of those famous restaurants I’ll give a go to Chelsea’s Kitchen aside from its near our area and its located at my favorite mall. I always see a lot of people eating there but never did get a chance to try any of their food. And your review makes my want more to really visit them soon with family. I love beautiful set ups in a restaurants and food presentation is one of the plus factors for me, well of course the food needs to be delicious and I’m sure it is because I read a lot of good reviews about them.
