Ayala Malls Launches “PLAY” Time Summer Activities!

Posted on

What can we do to keep our kids pre-occupied this summer? Well, we search for summer activities that are both worthwhile and in my case inexpensive. Ayala Malls have great activities throughout the summer and this time around with the launch of “PLAY” we can expect a summer of musical live shows, rugby, a game fest and more.

Kianna and I attended the launch at Glorietta where we got a peek of what to expect. I don’t have as much time as I’d like to spend with my kids so events like these are ways to spend time with them. This time around Kianna and I had a day together. The funny thing is we had actually had an argument the day before. As a person one of my challenges is my pride, as a mother though I try and put that aside. I was happy that at the end of the day Kianna and I were more than okay.

To get to the main event floor we had to go through a fun inflatable maze. This is so popular right now and it was fun to do even if it was on land. The place was decorated like a child’s dream. With colorful installations and fun table top decorations.

Sam Oh hosted the event and we learned a little more about what to expect with “PLAY” time.

Easter Cupcake Decorating at Vanilla Cafe

Posted on

This year, Jael and I spent Easter at Vanilla Cafe Trinoma for an Easter Cupcake Decorating activity. Vanilla Cafe is one of the prettiest places I’ve seen. The pastels, cute decor and candied smell of sweets from cupcakes to cake slices overwhelms the senses and my eyes!

I told Jael all about the activity and he was excited to decorate his very own cupcake. It was Vanilla Cafe’s first event and the accommodating and cheerful staff were looking forward to it as well.

Like all Vanilla Cafe branches, Trinoma has a well decorated restaurant. The dainty set up was too pretty for words.

The Easter Cupcake Decorating event included a toque, apron, DIY cupcake kit that included a cupcake, piping bags filled with assorted frosting, assorted toppers with 1 Easter Sunday topper and a Kiddie Meal (spaghetti bolognese, fried chicken and 1 glass of juice). For Php599, that was definitely a steal.

As we were waiting for it to start I just had to capture the prettiness around me. I could tell that it was a well though out concept with details and personal touches here and there.

Jael was a bit under the weather but he was looking forward to creating his design. He looked so adorable in his blue toque and apron.

Jael got to work on his cupcake decorating skills garnishing with sprinkles and choosing from cute Easter themed toppers.

The final result! Jael couldn’t resist eating some of the toppings especially the gummy bears.

Other kids also had a fun time decorating their cupcakes.

Vanilla Cafe Food Choices

Bacon Carbonara (Php248)

Each bite was heaven for me. Pasta being my most favorite food topped with bits of bacon was delicious with every bite. Jael tried it and I told him that it was so good. He said the sweetest thing! “I like your pasta better mom.” <3

Kiddie Meal

Crunchy fried chicken and spaghetti bolognese is the perfect kiddie meal combo.

Naughty Nutella Frappe (Php128)

The Nutella frappe had the distinct Nutella flavor but it also had a coffee flavor. I had ordered this for Jael but he found it too strong for his tastebuds so I gladly drank it.

Strawberry Iced Tea & Calamansi Juice

Check Out the First Ever Kid’s Fair 2017 at SM Megatrade Hall

Posted on

The brightest event for our little ones is here. Kid’s Fair 2017: “Bright! Right From The Start” kicks off on April 21 – 23, 2017 (Friday to Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the SM Megatrade Hall 1 in Mandaluyong City.

The first ever Kid’s Fair is an event that sets an environment of learning, discovery, and fun for kids with various activities that could help them improve their creative and thinking skills. From the moment they set foot in the fair, the fun begins – filled with delightful servings of games that stimulate creativity, sportsmanship, and problem-solving skills.

Play and win prizes at game booths; listen to book reading sessions or discover new books to take home; try an art craft session and bring out the artist within; join several exciting workshops that enhances skills and imagination; and explore a bounty of booths from toys, books and sports – to fashion, candies, and cakes. But wait – this chock-full of fun fair is not just for kids.

Parents don’t have to watch on the sidelines. You’re in it too. Moms, dads, grandparents, and guardians are definitely in the mix – it’s a family affair. KID’S FAIR actively involves the whole family by helping them learn to provide the proper learning path so kids get the necessary motivation and guidance, a solid foundation that propels them to a better future with careers that give them purpose and a lifestyle of holistic well-being.

A healthy mind needs a healthy body, so the Doctors are in at the KID’S FAIR too. Stop by the Child Check-up lounge and get medical and health advice from reputable Child Psychologists. What’s more, you may want to try the “Left-brain, Right-brain Dominance Assessment” and find out if your child is either analytical or creative – or maybe even both – an expert in child psychology will be there to guide you.

KID’S FAIR aims to promote proper childhood development that fosters joy and harmony at home and in school. We believe that happy, optimistic children are the product of happy, optimistic homes.

ARTISTE SPACE produced and organized KID’S FAIR 2017: “Bright! Right From The Start” to provide a cheerful event for kids and their families while forwarding knowledge on effective childcare and development. Earnestly working to deliver an exceptional KID’S FAIR that exceeds visitor expectations and become a must-attend event for the whole family every year.
