I’m a mother of 3 wonderful children who have brought me the most unique experiences and happiness beyond measure. I’d like to share about me and what I’ve discovered as a lifestyle fitness mommy blogger and  work at home mom.

I’ll also be sharing the things that my kids are into be it the latest gadget or activity. I love booksmovies and food! As a family we take advantage of the time that we have when we’re all free to explore these small bits of happiness.

When I was younger (picture late teens, I was married at 19 but that’s for a different post!) I never thought I would be a mom, and have 3 kids at that. Now, I can’t imagine my life being anything other than it is.

Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs there is. I don’t think anyone can fully appreciate this fact unless they have their own children that they are responsible for or are made a parent figure for a sibling or a young relative.

The one difference I’ve noted is if you’re working in an office, at the end of the day you go home. You leave work behind. You can choose not to return (albeit with minor consequences). When you’re a parent you’re forever a parent. It’s not something you can erase or take back.

If all parents were to realize that it’s within their control and desire to produce substantial human beings we’d be living in a much better place. Maybe that sounds idealistic but it all boils down to what your priorities are.

I want to raise responsible, independent and happy children. I asked myself how can I do that exactly? I looked back on my own childhood and realized that I needed to be factual, straightforward and treat my children as small adults who can understand concepts if I explain it well. In comes patience and self control. These are 2 things you will definitely need as a parent.

I hope I get to share techniques and tips on how to be the best mom you can be. This might not be for every mom and I’m sure I’ll shock but stay tuned you might be surprised as to how effective it can be.
