You know how when you’re watching something and an ad or a preview of a movie pops up and your kids are like “Who’s that?” or “What’s that?” and you feel like you’ve been slapped in the face? Alright, alright nothing that drastic but it’s truly a disturbing feeling to know that kids these days don’t know “The Classics”. What do I mean? Aside from the obviously popular songs of years past they don’t know Sting from Magic for crying out loud!
Is it just me or am I the only one affected by this? There have been many instances of this and I decided to give my son life lessons through “Classic” books and movies. We’ll be watching movies and reading books that were once popular with every right to be so and writing or maybe even doing videos of his take on them. I’m curious to know what this generation thinks of The Breakfast Club or say The Catcher in the Rye. Hence, the creation of B’s Point of View.
We’re open to suggestions but please give us a break with Tagalog books because between the two of us we’ll be having “nosebleeds”!
My son, Sebastian is 14 years old. He likes to read and watch movies hence this project. He also likes to dabble in drawing and writing. He’s very outgoing and is popular and friendly. He also has a blog you can check out: THE MARVELOUS ADVENTURES OF A DUDE.
