Jael and I spent an afternoon eating and creating with one of our favorite cheese spreads, Cheez Whiz! Our home is never without a bottle or at least a saver pack of Cheez Whiz. Can you believe that they’ve been around for over 50 years?
We really enjoyed our time at the #CheezWhizCheeseventions event which featured a demo and workshop plus various stations of additional fun. The Cowcium at CW Photowall, ScienCheez at CW Spreadometer, CW Cheeseperiment, and CW Freedom Wall, we tried it all and had a fun time doing so. Celebrity mom and daughter Bettinna and Gummy Carlos also joined in on the festivities.
Chef DJ Santos led the Cheese 101 workshop where he demonstrated three (3) fun and easy recipes to make with our very favorite Cheez Whiz – the Cheesy Pepperoni Tower, Cheesy Cupcake Pops, and Cheesy Burrito.
We tried to follow as best we could but I mostly left it all up to Jael so he could enjoy on his own. The little guy though likes Cheez Whiz so much that he’d duck under the table to squeeze some into his mouth!
Not half bad, if I do say so myself! Cheez Whiz has a contest everyone can join at cheeseventions.com. We were hoping to be one of the winners at the event for the best creation but not to worry we didn’t hold out for it too much. Instead we munched on our creations but saved some for his Ate and Kuya.
Because he made some awesome Cheez Whiz inspired snacks, Jael became a certified Cheeseventor! He even has a certificate to prove it!

Cheez Whiz Recipe for Kids to Try!
Solar Cheestem:
A delicious snack that’s out of this world!
Ingredients:
* Cupcakes
* Cheez Whiz 220g
* Planet toppers
Procedure:
- Spread thick Cheez Whiz on top of the cupcakes.
- Lay out the Solar System placemat on the table.
- Place a cupcake on each planet outline.
- Stick the toppers into the cupcakes.
