Back to school can be fun and it can be troublesome. Either way it’s necessary. It’s a yearly thing we do and depending on how many kids you have it can be easy or complicated. Having 2 teens and an 8 year old I’ve pretty much got it down so I’m sharing some back to school tips! I also have some great back to school tips from you guys!

We now have different school year durations because of the attempt of some schools to align their school year with those from schools abroad. Common start of schools now are June, July and August. The teens are starting in August and Jael has already started school as of June.

Back to School Guide

School Supplies

One of THE most important things to take care of is school supplies. It can get to be a headache trying to keep within a budget and here’s one of the best options for you. National Book Store offers plenty of affordable products especially bundles.

We used to have to rummage through the notebooks area to find all the same designs but now there’s a notebook bundle which cuts the time in less than half. Also, schools are requiring color coded notebooks so this solves that problem.

Shopping Tips

Some helpful tips from you guys right here! Completely agree with this and the best thing about it is they’re tried and tested.

Recycling Tips

Whether you’re trying to stay within a budget or wanting to help save the environment here are some tips to help you recycle.

An additional tip I have is to buy items that will make your kids’ school days more enjoyable like this DC Comics pencil case. Another is to take advantage of big sales at National Book Store like their warehouse sale where I got these pencils and erasers for Jael.

Organizing Tips

Back to school isn’t just about shopping but getting everything organized from the supplies to their baon.

Clothing, accessories, etc

Shopping also includes getting undergarments, hankies, shoes, etc. Plus items that your kids will need and like such as lunch boxes, water bottles, back packs, etc.

Baon/ Snacks

Unfortunately, I’m not one of those moms that make creative baon and lunches. Jack n Jill All Weak Baon is a big help and provides different snacks everyday. Jael can’t get enough of these Choco Knots.
