CreamOholics enjoyed a unique bonding experience as Cream-O hosted an afternoon of outdoor movie watching and cookie munching with the Cream-O Flix Fest, held recently at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. The kids and I looked forward to spending a day at the park and watching one of our favorite movies.
Family Movie Marathon
The Cream-O Flix Fest kept everyone entertained throughout the exciting day with three movies in a row. Kids and kids-at-heart watched “Minions” while teens sang their heart out with “Pitch Perfect 1.” Capping-off Cream-O’s first-ever outdoor movie marathon event was the well-loved romantic-comedy “50 First Dates.”
We caught the full showing of Pitch Perfect 1 and danced and sang along to the songs. I’ve always loved the idea of watching in a park and being in an al fresco environment enjoying a show. Hopefully, there are more opportunities such as this.
Personalize your Cream-O
The Cream-Ofied Creations booth let Creamoholics jazz-up their well-loved cookies in four easy steps: choose, dip, sprinkle and drizzle. First, they chose their favorite Cream-O variant (Vanilla, Choco Fudge, Deluxe, Crinkles, Chocolate Chip, Cookies ‘n Cream and Choco ‘n Berries) and dipped it in rich chocolate (milk, dark or white), peanut butter or whipped cream. They added extra color, texture and flavor to their creations with a wide variety of toppings, and even drizzled on some delicious chocolate, caramel or strawberry syrup.
Cream-O has many variants now and some of our family favorites are Chocolate Chip Cookies and Cookies and Cream. Jael has been having an allergy to egg, chicken and fish and thankfully these 2 variants are safe for him to eat.
Aside from the flicks, there were fun activities such as the “Unlock the Popcorn Stash” and “Guess the Movie” trivia game. They also captured moments and personalized their images through the “I Love Cream-O” photo booth. Lucky winners won Fujifilm Instax mini cameras and Robinsons gift certificates from raffle draws.
While we were watching, Kianna was approached to do a short interview about the event. Her 15 minutes if fame and she was excited about it. I love it when kids have experiences like that because they gain confidence.
