If there’s one store that comes to mind when you’re thinking about buying baby essentials it’s SM Baby Company. Hands down. They carry everything, and I mean everything you need. I don’t think it’s ever happened that they didn’t have an item I needed.
Their tagline The Baby Specialist is perfect as they are complete in their range of baby products. With over 50 stores nationwide there’s sure to be a store near you. You can easily find them in most SM Department stores and they also have 6 mall boutiques: Power Plant Mall, SM Aura Premiere, SM North Edsa, The Block, SM Fairview and SM Cebu. There are also 17 select stores inside Hypermarket outlets.
Recently, I attended the re-opening of their boutique at Power Plant Mall. I learned plenty of things as I toured the store and looked longingly at their items. Fifteen years ago you didn’t have the designs and vast choices present today. It must be so great to have all these colors and designs to choose from.
Before we toured the boutique we were present for the ribbon cutting and blessing of the newly re-opened branch. The store design is both modern and shopper friendly.
Andi Manzano-Reyes, Kelly Misa-Fernandez and Patty Laurel-Filart were the pretty celebrities invited to grace the re-opening and cut the ribbon.
The Power Plant boutique is quite large. As explained to me, boutique stores have been put up to cater to those who are looking for a wider and more curated choice of items. Here you can find brands that are focused on selective shoppers.
Some world class brands that come to mind are Chicco, Dr. Brown’s, Philips Avent, Graco, Disney, Fisher Price and the list goes on.
From 0-36 months, you have many brands and items to choose from for your baby’s needs. Products range from apparel to toys to nursery furniture.
Even though my kids are way past their target market you’ll still find me shopping at Baby Company for items such as wipes, hand soap, powder, etc. Baby Clean and Tiny Buds are two of my favorite brands for these things.
As you can see, their Rice Baby Powder is a blogger favorite. One of mine as well.
You’ll find Charlie Banana which is both eco-friendly and economical.
Of course, their selection of toys is both of quality and colorful designs. Two things I look for when I’m buying for my niece and friend’s children.
They also have toys for the older kids, such as these Mega Blok sets.
When I was buying a mobile for my older kids, the only available designs were those of the plastic variety. Nothing like this gorgeous print and design.

Baby Clothing
Baby clothing has got to be the cutest thing you can shop for. Despite having 3 kids already I found myself still yearning because of all the gorgeous items and designs that are now available. Today, there are so many choices. Back in the day (okay about 15 years ago) baby clothing mostly came in white and if there were colored clothing mostly pastels and primarily focused on blue and pink.
I just fell in love with the many designs available at Baby Company. Carters, a long time favorite and probably most everyone’s go to clothing for babies has a rich selection of colors and designs.
This dinosaur design would have been perfect for Jael.
Popular brands Enfant and St Patrick are two brands that carefully choose where their products are retailed.
Such a cute suit for a little boy.
Luvable Friends is another brand that Baby Comapny carries. Here you can get great designs at very affordable prices.
Their onesies are sold by 4’s and are very easy on the pocket.
Obi is an in-house brand and as you can see one of the most colorful choices. Vibrant hues and simple designs are exactly what make it attractive.
For your christening needs you can also rely on Baby Company to have what you need.
Baby Shoes
Another item that now has better designs and is both functional and affordable.
These pretty itty bitty shoes are so cute! And what I love most is they are very affordable. Something I’m already keeping in mind for Christmas for my godchildren.
Linens
Linens in my day had some pretty designs but nothing as lush and rich as the ones you see here. What makes them even more desirable is that they come in complete sets at pretty reasonable prices.
This seems plain but I was instantly attracted to it’s simplicity. The idea of a circus design with a pillow for a ticket…who can resist that?
