My son, Bastian and I spent a great afternoon at Manila Workshop’s Make Your Own Kiddie Party. Held at the Insular Life Bldg in Makati City we had 4 hours of learning, fun and food! We were given insights, tips and tricks to creating our own budget friendly parties.
I was very much entertained by Ferdi Salazar and Czarina Ledesma of The Event Architects as they discussed party themes, inspiration boards, budgeting even down to their recommended suppliers. Having handled affairs for Lancôme, Clear, Cosmopolitan, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, and Louis Vuitton as well as personal functions for Sarah Meier and Tim Yap we were definitely getting our money’s worth.
We got out our creativity gloves out when we were asked to group ourselves and create a party design on the tables. This is what our group came up with. Our idea was inspired from the movie and book Little Miss Sunshine.
Improved table design with Ferdi’s help.
Our “Creative” Team
This table design was chosen as one of the winners. There was actually a tie! I love their theme.
This was the the other winner which had a “Honeymoon/ Marriage” theme.
Another great design by using the table as a makeshift tent.
Ginger Palma Arboldea the brains and beauty behind Manila Workshops talks about upcoming workshops and their new baby “Memory Crafters”. See Ferdi and Czarina taking a “selfie”? 🙂

There were quite a few concessionaires and they had the loveliest designs and products. There was also yummy treats and food to fill us up!
