Mommy Bloggers Philippines teamed up with Frabelle Foods to have a special bento box workshop for mommy bloggers. This was an event I was really looking forward to and excited for. For sure, you’re familiar with this brand with their tasty frozen seafood and Christmas hams.
This workshop featured a few of their premium products which I was surprised we were able to make into the cutest bento creations.
Frabelle comes from the names of the founders, Francisco and Bella = Frabelle. Frabelle Foods includes many kinds of products from frozen seafood, balls, battered, breaded, fried, sauces, hotdogs, longganiza, tocino, bacon, sliced hams, tapa, to their famous Christmas hams.
Chef Donne was very engaging and the kids and mommies alike enjoyed the session. He shared personal anecdotes, thoughts and helpful tips for bento making.
Jael was also looking forward to our activity. I told him about bento and what we were going to do. He was excited to create and as I would later find out eat the ingredients! Look at the concentration!
Seascape Bento Box
Our first bento box creation featured Frabellle Foods Captain’s Catch Cheesy Nuggets. We have been buying Frabelle’s Captain’s Catch Fish Nuggets for Jael. It’s one of his favorite foods and before we discovered their fish nuggets we were feeding him another brand (chicken nuggets). For 2 weeks straight he ate chicken nuggets for lunch and gained weight that bothered me. I realized the chicken nuggets I was feeding him was not healthy.
Since nuggets are his favorite I searched for an alternative and that’s when I found Frabelle’s fish nuggets! A healthier alternative and one that I can feed Jael with peace of mind.
Featured products:
- Captain’s Catch Cheezy Tuna Nuggets
- Bossing Sweet Ham
We also used their sweet ham to make pretty flowers for the seascape.
We were so happy to have created this bento box!
Lady Bug in Paradise Bento Box
When Chef Donne said we were making ladybugs I had to wonder how that would turn out and it turned out perfectly if I do say so myself.
Featured product:
- Bossing Burger
Chef Donne shared some tips for bento making. Instead of using toothpicks you can use uncooked spaghetti to prevent kids from getting hurt. To stick the food together like the eyes and other pieces mayo is a good option.
Piggy in a Bun Bento Box
Kids will enjoy this bento creation as they’ll see a piggy when they open their lunch box!
Featured product:
- Premium hotdogs
Lettuce is a great way to fill the box and give it color and life. It can also be a padding for the other food pieces.
Baymax Bento Box
Our favorite Personal Health Care Companion is here! The mommies were intrigued with making Baymax and Chef Donne showed us the easiest way to make it. We were surprised as we thought it would be an intricate creation.
Featured product:
- Seaglow Squid Ball
- Seaglow Orilan (Kikiam)
Look at how cozy Baymax is. This bento box has rice, meat, egg, squid ball, kikiam, nori and fruits!
Frabelle also has sauces to accompany their frozen products.
Richwell Prime gladly sponsored toys for the kids. All the kids were extremely excited to receive this surprise. Sharing the Mega Bloks Spongebob toy set in a separate post. Watch out for that!
The mommies of Mommy Bloggers Philippines with Frankie, Belle, and Chef Donne. We also got to take home products from Frabelle Foods premium line to make some more bento creations at home.

Oh my sis, I super had fun at this workshop. I’ve always been curious about bento-making so I can make my niece and son eat veggies in a fun and creative way. I am looking forward to more workshops like this with MBP! P.S. I super love Frabelle Products!
I’ve always wanted to create Bento meals for my kids, kaso I feel like it takes so much time. Well, at least when I tried it, it took me A LOT of time. Haha! I wish I joined this, it would have been an awesome learning opportunity.
I love seeing kids cooking at an early age!
I remember Frabelle from the Christmas party! Their food was really yummy, my family loved it! The bento box ideas are so cool. I hope to attend next time too! 🙂
I wanted to join this event but I had previous commitment. Sana may next time pa.
Bento boxes are so cute! I attended a bento box workshop once and I found it so time-consuming though. Haha! I might attempt to make some again if we’re having a party though.

I got hungry looking at the pictures of your bento! hehehe We haven’t tried Frabelle products yet but this post made me want to go to the supermarket now and buy some. I’m looking forward to attending a workshop like this with my daughter when she’s older.
Your creations are all so adorable! I’m sure they taste yummy too! My son isn’t going to regular school yet, but before he does, I’ll make sure to practice bento hehe
Niiiiiice! I love Frabelle! Especially their orlian, fish balls, etc. Malaman kasi talaga, it’s full of hangin unlike other brands. Would definitely try the shrimp popcorn. Naintriga ako! And thank you kasi nagka-idea ako for my daughter’s baon in the future. 🙂
Looks fun! I;ve always wanted to do bento for my daughters but never found time to enroll in classes. Soon, hopefully 🙂
