We often call out the distracted driver, but when we are the one distracted, we don’t often realize that we become that driver.

A driver can be distracted by many factors, and using our mobile phones or texting claims the top spot. So many drivers give in to such distraction each day that it easily becomes a routine and a very dangerous one at that.

Making a text while driving can distract a driver for about 5 seconds on average, which may seem like a fleeting moment, but could be all it takes for an accident on the road to occur.
