Universal Robina Corporation (URC) is giving engineering students an opportunity to be mentored by its technical experts through a five-day learning boot camp in January 2019. With the URC B.I.T.E. or Business Insider Training Experience program, college students can experience what it’s like to work in a food manufacturing company.

Get to know the ins and outs of operations in the URC plants to equip themselves with knowledge and experience that can help put all their learnings to practice.

URC B.I.T.E. focuses on honing skills of future innovators and movers of society within five days of intensive and hands-on mentorship and activities. The program will expose B.I.T.E. students to strategy-building and problem-solving activities based on actual manufacturing scenarios and case studies–mostly on environment and sustainability–that have occurred in URC plants.

Aside from the learning opportunity, the program can also open doors for potential internships and future employment in one of the leading snack and beverage manufacturing companies in the country. The participants can even land a spot in URC’s Manufacturing Cadetship program.

The URC B.I.T.E. program is open to Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering graduating students from all over the country. Interested students can visit www2.urc.com.ph/bite for the step-by-step registration procedure.

Registration will end on December 15, 2018.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your future with a B.I.T.E.
