Continuing on a fitness journey can be hard. It definitely has its ups and downs and inspiring and low moments so what I do to keep myself interested is to always try new things whether it be new videos from my favorite Tone It Up girls or a new experience such as the one I had at Plana Forma at their Il Terrazzo branch.
I was so psyched to try it ever since I heard about it. I didn’t get to attend their opening but I’ve kept them in mind for the longest time and I finally got to try it and with close friends, too! Thank you for the invite Rose and Ted! Love you guys!
So what is Plana Forma exactly? Plana Forma is a barre technique that combines dance, pilates and yoga focusing on hard to reach areas such as your arms, abs, seat and thighs. My thighs were killing me after our session! It’s what hurt the most. No wonder they call themselves thigh warriors! Just one workout already told me that I’ll be able to achieve that fit and toned body I’ve always dreamed of.
The class I specifically got to try was their Plana Forma Asana which aims to achieve balance, relaxation, and flexibility. This class is ideal for beginners.

I haven’t tried working out with a ball just yet but I think there are many possibilities to it and it looks like so much fun.

Feeling strong and powerful after a 45 minute Plana Forma Asana workout! We actually headed off to 1970s Grill afterwards where I got to try Chicken Feet for the first time! But that’s for another story!
