Robinsons Supermarket Summer Fair Treat and My First Visit to Nuvali Solenad!

I officially felt the summer heat and promise of fun when Kianna and Bastian had their last day of school. This meant more of them at home and summer activities and events! The first for the summer was a trip to Nuvali Solenad to check out Robinsons Supermarket Summer Fair. I didn’t have the kids in tow but I did get to spend it with my friends and enjoyed water games, grilling and yummy snacks.

Though it was a hot day the heat was more than tolerable in windy Sta. Rosa. The family friendly activities were at Solenad 3’s Activity Center and the area was full of color and pop making the day even more festive. The 3 day summer fair featured a mini wet theme park and had plenty of areas for families to bond as they ate and played games.

First up was the Grill Platter experience. I always recall my childhood of grilling burgers, steaks and barbecue. Barbecue is a personal fave and it was fun giving it a try. The first 150 customers who pre-registered for the fair got a chance to grill their own platter as well.

Up next was a super fun game of Water Race where you had to shoot the rubber ducky to the finish line using a water gun. We had a Charlie’s Angels moment here!

Another Charlie’s Angels moment was at the Water Gun Battle where contestants were dressed up in raincoats and helmets each literally having a target on their head! I saw many kids and adults enjoying this game in particular. I bet Jael would have had the time of his life.

The Dunk Tank Challenge was an intimidating game and I didn’t even dare venture it. I saw some kids brave it though and one boy was sadly dunked. He had a look of shock that I thought would turn to a cry BUT he smiled instead. The beauty of summer! It makes us more adventurous and braver to try new things.

There was plenty of crazy fun at the ball pit where if I weren’t wearing a dress I would have probably been in! So much fun in ball pits and this is another one of Jael’s favorites.

The summer fair doesn’t end there though.
