The OPPO F1s phone just keeps improving and improving. My favorite selfie expert cam, the OPPO F1s now has increased internal storage capacity and larger RAM for snappier performance has made its debut in Philippine stores on February 3.
The OPPO F1s upgrade includes expanded storage space from 32GB to 64GB, and sports a 4GB RAM instead of the original 3GB RAM.
“The latest upgrades on the F1s shows that OPPO is unrelenting in its commitment to deliver outstanding experience for smartphone users,” said OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Stephen Cheng. “The F1s was already a masterpiece of technology and design when it made its debut in the country last year, but we never stopped looking for more ways to make it even better.”
The new phone retains the other specifications of the original F1s including the 16-megapixel front camera for crisp and vivid selfies even in low light, thanks to a 1/3.1-inch sensor and large f/2.0 aperture. The new variant also retains the 13-MP rear camera, palm- and voice-activated selfie commands, the fingerprint-activated calling and app launch, and the beautification feature Beautify 4.0.
Bigger space, better functionality
Though the upgraded F1s doubles the original’s internal storage capacity, the triple-card slot allows for an extra SD card to expand memory further by up to 128GB, enough to store more than 40,000 photos.
The expanded storage works together with the F1s’ bigger RAM and ColorOS3.0 to support the phone’s octa-core processor for fast performance when launching, using, and installing apps.
The brand new F1s will be available at P13,990.

This phone really sounds interesting. I like the specs especially the expandable memory, which iPhone doesn’t have. And the price is really cheap! So why not, I wouldn’t mind buying one of these.
The specs are really interesting. Most of the mobile phone cameras these days have begun to come with a f 2.0 aperture and that’s really great in terms of taking photos in low light. And 128 GB memory really does the trick. My Samsung Galaxy S5 was awesome when it was launched but with usage it has become slow, slow, very slow. Also the major portion of the memory is filled with the OS itself so device storage keeps getting full every other day. I’ve been doing a reset on my phone very alternate month but now it seems like its high time to buy a new phone.
Wow! I didn’t know that they increased their storage. I got an OPPO F1s last year and gave it to my eldest daughter. She enjoyed it so much. She is not into taking selfies, but she indeed liked all the other features!
This looks interesting. I have an ASUS Zenfone 2 and it’s currently dying on me. I think I need a new phone soon. I also love the thought that it specializes in selfies.
I simply like it when phones make upgrades. I am also impressed by the performance of Oppo F1S. It was the phone I bought when my 5year old iPhone retired. Husband, though, gifted me with a new phone as well. For fear he will learn I got a new one, I sold my brand new F1S. It was easily bought because of again, its impressive features. Somehow, I regret this decision of selling it.
I am also eyeing this smartphone since I wanted a phone with camera that stands out. The specs fit my needs and I like that it is a little bit more budget-friendly than the other phone that I am considering.
The specs are really tempting! I have been browsing for a new phone when the time comes. I have been looking for a phone with bigger capacity and faster RAM which is still affordable! This and Huawei Mate 9 or P9 is tempting me but let’s see if they come in free with some postpaid subscription. 🙂
