We have been a printer less home… until now. When we needed some printing done we would save the documents to a USB and then go to the local print shop. It can get quite costly. One black and white page would be 5 pesos but that would be for text only. Any time a document has an image 1/8 of the page it jumps to 10 pesos. Colored pages are even more expensive at 20 pesos a page for 1/4 image. Whole pages will cost much more.
With the demanding printing needs of the kids and sometimes my work I’ve been looking for a printer that would accommodate all our requirements. I wanted a printer that could print, copy, and scan. I found all of this in the HP All in One Printer which not only prints, scans, and copies but can also print from my mobile phone. This makes everything all the more convenient and safe.
What’s in the box:
The HP DeskJet 3635 All-in-One Printer comes with HP 680 Black Ink Cartridge (~480 pages)and HP 680 Tri-colour Ink Cartridge, a Software CD, a Setup Poster, Power Cord, and a USB cable.
An added feature is its wireless capability which supports printing from most smartphones and tablets using these operating systems: Android, iOS, Blackberry, Symbian, Windows 8, Windows RT. Now I don’t need another set of cables to connect to my computer. This is a highlight for me and because it’s wireless I’m able to do mobile printing.
It also has an energy saving feature technology with the HP Auto-Off Technology wherein you can configure your device to automatically turn off either when it senses there is no activity after a set interval or at a predetermined time each day.
HP’s lowest priced ink cartridges are a big plus and you can save money on ink since you can control the settings choosing draft mode which can be more beneficial compared to a shop’s standard and more expensive printing costs.
It has happened on more than one occasion that our USB has gotten a virus because of printing. With a printer right in the comfort of our own home I won’t need to worry about that. We can also print anytime we want.
Having a printer at home also gives us more opportunities to explore crafts and learning activities. Jael was just giddy with delight when I told him about the projects we could do.
I have a couple of scrapbooks which I can finally get to doing and some other printing projects I’ve had to set aside. With the ease and convenience of an HP All in One Printer I won’t ever have to worry about printing costs, late night printing and those last minute photocopy of IDs when I need them!

Computer printers are such a big help in our household. Aside from printing school assignments, we could scan documents that husband needs to submit or in my case, just print anything that interests me and paste it in my journal. We have HP before but switched to Canon. I don’t know the reason, but I miss our old HP printer.
I’m currently looking for a home printer that i’ll be using in printing out some label stickers for my business. Those with ink that never smudge. I’m gonna check this out. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
We have several printers at home and 2 of them are made by HP. I can say that I am completely satisfied with HP printers!
I like how it looks and it’s feature. I will recommend this to my friends.
I love the fact that I can print with this using my mobile phone and I don’t have to turn my PC on anymore.
me wants that printer! With 4 schoolers, we need a lot of printing talaga!
This looks amazing! Too bad my sister just got herself another similar printer, otherwise I’d recommend this to her as well. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Oh! This is a good printer!
I’ve heard about Brother having a wireless feature(where one would use wifi to connect to the printer) but not hp… I love the energy saving feature that they have, and if there’s anything that I would love to have in a printer, it would be to print photos (or documents) from mobile phone to printer without the cable hassles. 🙂
