Relaxation at Skinsational Spa

Every once in awhile it’s nice to pamper yourself and the way that I do that is by getting a massage. There are plenty of places to go to for one but I found myself on West Ave in Quezon City at Skinsational Spa where I spent a couple of hours relaxing. Skinsational Spa primarily offers services such as massages, spa treatments and skin care. They also offer face and body treatments such as Lipo Cavitation, Galvanic and Radio Frequency Facials and more beauty enhancing procedures. The newly opened spa is quite modest in size and I actually went past my stop. It’s nearer to EDSA than it is to Quezon Ave. Upon arriving at the spa I was offered a cold drink since it was such a hot day. There are cozy couches where spa treatments and nail services are done. Further inside you’ll see the separated rooms for the massage services. The rooms are very simple and lighting in the rooms are quite bright as it’s not a totally enclosed room. Getting a massage I knew I had to let go of my inhibitions since I would need to undress. I was provided towels and a robe. There’s also cabinets to store your clothing, bags and items. I chose an Aromatherapy massage (Php350) as I love the minty scent while I’m being rubbed to sleep. My other massage...

Saboten Japanese Comfort Food Limited Time Meal Set

It was another date with my little man, this time at Saboten in Glorietta 5. I was looking forward to trying their Japanese Comfort Food Set. Who couldn’t do with more comfort and from food at that! It was a sunny day and we were looking forward to eating and talking. Well, at least I was. With the rate that Jael’s at when it comes to talking I knew we wouldn’t run out of things to talk about. It was also a great chance to practice my food photography skills. I think I’ve been improving and I notice that I’m always taking close ups of food. I love the way they look up close that you can practically taste it! Mommy Bloggers Philippines had it’s first ever photography workshop at Saboten so it was a very welcome return. We started off with a couple of drinks. I had ordered the shake while Jael ordered juice but we ended up trading our drinks. Orange Juice Ripe Mango & Passion Fruit Starter Salad All dishes include this shredded cabbage and pickles. I’ve never tried this before but what clinched it for me was the amazing Sesame dressing that comes with it. You can actually drizzle all your dishes with it! Japanese Comfort Food Set The Japanese Comfort Food Set is only available for a limited time. Hopefully they make it a...

Create Magical Moments with Disney Baby

Who didn’t grow up being a Disney fan at one point in their childhood? I certainly was. The Mickey Mouse Christmas Carol is still one of my favorites to this day. When I was invited to the launch of Disney Baby I was excited to see what was in store and although Jael is already in his pre-school years I couldn’t pass up the chance to be introduced to this new baby line. Disney unveiled their new brand and range aptly named Disney Baby. It’s a collection of unique products organized around key moments of the day which include Dressing Baby, Meal Time, Play Time and On-the-Go. The entire range of Disney Baby licensed consumer products is now available in the Philippines. For over 90 years, Disney has been a leader in family time and togetherness and Disney Consumer Products has been licensing in the infant space since 1930’s. Disney Baby launched in the United States in early 2012 and since then has also opened dedicated Disney Baby Stores throughout the US. Disney Baby provides Filipino parents with quality products they need for creating magical moments right from the start, enhanced by positive family-bonding. Celebrate Pasta Month at Al Dente Pasta Festa

It’s World Pasta Month this October and being a lover of anything pasta I’m inviting you to join the Al Dente Pasta Festa Celebration! The Pasta Festa event on October 9 will be a smorgasbord of pasta festivities. In celebration, Al Dente is holding an online pasta recipe contest where the grand finals for will be awarded at the Pasta Festa event. In Celebration of World Pasta Month: A Pasta Festa for the People Craving for a bit of Italian? The first thing that comes to mind is a big heaping bowl of pasta, covered with your favorite sauce and sprinkled with lots of Parmesan cheese. It is a dish that everyone loves to eat often, that pasta has become a kitchen pantry staple. Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta brings a taste of Italy to the Filipino home with its line of Italian artisanal pasta noodles, made of 100% durum wheat semolina. Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta is produced according to the tradition of true Italian pasta. There is actually an Italian law that prescribes that pasta must be made using 100% durum wheat semolina, which is the hardest of all the wheat varieties and has the highest protein content. It is the use of durum wheat that makes pasta “al dente” or “firm to the bite.” Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta is also made using traditional bronze dies, which gives the noodles...

Discover Robinsons Townville in Pulilan

The last launch of the Robinsons Townville community malls is in Pulilan, Bulacan where a weekend of carnival festivities and entertainment is in store. I attended the Meycauayan launch and it was such a blast that I attended the last leg of their launch. The Robinsons community malls are a one stop shop for family needs. You have your basic needs: supermarket, drug store, appliances and hardware. There are also places to eat such as Mang Inasal and food kiosks. While you shop you can leave the kids at Fun House where they can play video games and have some rides. Where I shop usually depends on what my errands are. A big factor in where I choose is bill payments. I only learned during my visit to Robinsons Townville Pulilan that they have a bill payments counter at Customer Service. At Robinsons Appliances all your household appliance needs can be met. South Star Drug is now under Robinsons Supermarkets and is their official drug store brand. All your home improvement needs can be found at Handyman. They’ve already got Christmas decors ready for those who decorate as early as September. The bakery at their Pulilan community mall is Simplybread by Chef Andrew. I learned alot of interesting facts as we toured the community mall. How supermarkets are set up depending on the consumers living in the area. The way items...
