There are so many organizations worthy of our support but we’re all just so wrapped up in our individual lives. If you’ve wanted to support a cause but haven’t found the time or convenience to do so here’s one you can join. Tim Hortons Philippines is on their 2nd year of their #SmileCookie Campaign. This year they’re supporting the Action Against Hunger Organization.
Each #SmileCookie purchase of Php50 at Tim Hortons stores will benefit this year’s chosen organization. The campaign will run from Sept 21-23 so if you’re at anywhere near a Tim Hortons branch make sure to drop by and purchase some #SmileCookies.
Action Against Hunger Philippines is a global humanitarian organization that concentrates on the following initiatives:
⭐ Nutrition and Health Programs
⭐ Water and Sanitation Programs
⭐ Food Security
⭐ Livelihood Programs
With their efforts currently concentrated on those displaced from Marawi, your humble #SmileCookie purchases will go a long way in boosting their efforts to feed families.
I got to make my own #SmileCookie and though it didn’t come out as nice as the ones you’ll purchase it was great to participate in the activity.
For the longest time I had been wanting to try Tim Hortons but alas there are no branches where I live. So when I got the invite to support this campaign I brought my brother along to experience the event. He had been telling me how good the glazed ones were and I could practically taste them!
Of everything I tried I liked their signature coffee, Double Double. Perfectly blended with cream and sugar there’s no need to adjust the flavor. For the donuts, I liked the glaze but also liked the eclair. I was rather curious about their frappes and muffins but we’ll leave that for the next visit!
