No trip is complete without getting some “pasalubong” (gifts) for family and friends. It may be a sample of the local food or shirts to small trinkets like key chains.
We made sure to get some Vigan pasalubong items from Calle Crisologo during our kalesa tour.
We went to 2 pasalubong worthy places and of the 2 I would highly recommend Senorita Dulce. This was part of our tour courtesy of Metro Vigan Inn.
Though I was stuffed from all the food I ate at Metro Vigan Cafe I couldn’t help but eat the sweet delights presented to us during our visit here.
I love their butterscotch and cassava. I bought a box to take home to the kids who also enjoyed them.
Senorita Dulce not only has items for pasalubong but they have meals for you such as these slider burgers and miki.
Our last stop on our Vigan trip was to Marsha’s Delicacies a well known and popular pasalubong place.
They have everything you could possibly want to buy for your pasalubong.
Getting to Metro Vigan Inn:

By Land – The 408 km stretch from Manila to Vigan City is a comfortable eight-hour ride along the scenic Manila-Ilocos Highway. Many air-conditioned buses ply the Manila-Vigan route regularly.
Getting Around – The best way to explore Vigan is on foot; the town center is small and compact, yet full of excitement.

Hindi pa ako nakarating sa Vigan, i envy talaga people like you na nakapag travel na lalo na sa here sa Pinas na may magagandang lugar din.
Mukhang masasarap yung food nila. Paborito ko yung Vigan Longganisa nila! =)
I love Vigan’s cassava cake. Mas masarap sya compared to the ones that I’ve tried before. It’s been years since the last time I ate that cassava cake, but I have not forgotten the taste. 🙂
Awwww! Parang nakakatuliro mamili pag ganyan kadami hehe!
We were supposed to visit Vigan last summer kaso walang makuhang accomodation, buti ka pa nakapasyal hehe!
The next time we visit Vigan I’ll keep in mind to pass by here 🙂
Waah! we didn’t get the chance to visit this place. It seems that it has a lot of pasalubong that is yummy. I remember taking home a bamboo with malagkit(suman or biko?) inside the bamboo. It’s good too. Have u had one?
Hi Janine, Yes, it’s called tinubong and I got to try it. They explained to us how it was made and showed us how to open it. 🙂
