These waters have become quite the tourist attraction for visitors to soak in the water that is kept at a relaxing 98 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
These springs continue to be infused with minerals such as sodium, bicarbonate, magnesium, calcium, and sulfate. All of which provide different health benefits.
Lake Louise Ski Resort
Spanning across three mountains with 145 runs to offer this ski resort is one of the largest ski areas in North America. Their ski season duration is also quite impressive starting in early November and wrapping around in mid-May. If you aren’t an avid skier or snowboarder the resort also has other winter activities such as snow tubing and snowshoeing.
After the snow has melted, the resort becomes an impressive hiking trail that offers guided tours along with a wildlife interpretive center and a gondola where you can take in all of the views.
Banff Gondola
Providing you with a view of Banff and the Bow River Valley this gondola begins at the summit of Sulphur Mountain where you’ll enjoy eight unforgettable minutes of incredible views. After your ride you can spend time on the boardwalk where you’ll find gift shops, places to eat, and other entertaining things to enjoy such as interactive exhibits and a multi-sensory theater.
