Bay Area Fall Fun
Great America Amusement Park is one of the Bay Area’s premier attractions, but there is much more to see and do. Of course, you cannot miss the Golden Gate Bridge with its Art Deco design and massive steel towers. Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz Island are other favorite local attractions.
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art houses an impressive collection of modern and contemporary works. The collection includes pieces by Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Henri Matisse, and Diego Rivera. The museum has seven floors of galleries and has recently added and expansion, as it ran out of space. While there, you can shop and enjoy a meal created by a top local chef.
You can enjoy a night at the Castro Theater, which features its famous Wurlitzer organ. You can enjoy the show in this 1922 Art Deco building. Shows include sing-a-longs the Judy Garland favorite “San Francisco” and a host of show tunes throughout the ages. They provide glow stick, bubbles, and noisemakers for some audience participation fun.
The Bay Area has everything you would want from a thriving city.
