Book lovers like me are always on the look out for book sales from National Book Store and this time around I went to the National Book Store Book Binge Bazaar.
This year the bazaar was held in both Manila and Cebu. In Cebu the sale was at National Book Store Mango Plaza in Cebu City and in Manila at National Book Store Quezon Avenue in Quezon City from May 1 to 12, 2019.
May 1 was exclusively for Laking National cardholders, while May 2 to 12 open to the public. Doors opened from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM everyday, except for Fridays and Saturdays when they were open until 12:00 midnight.
Admission is completely free and there are literally thousands of imported books available for as low as Php75. Bestselling young adult titles, fiction novels, and inspiring reads were featured in the sale. There were also new coloring books, activity books, and story books which I bought for Jael. Also guidebooks on work, travel, fashion, health, fitness, and many other topics.
There were also plenty of children’s toys and school supplies.
I stuck to a Php1000 budget and got all these finds. As much as I wanted to buy more books for Jael to read he already has a ton to go through so I went for activity books. I was so interested in the DC Papercraft book I ended up doing them myself!
