Curled lashes make a difference! I didn’t use to give any attention to them until I had to use fake lashes for my boudoir shoot. I had no clue how to put them on but luckily Kianna was helping me get ready and she did her magic. The effect afterwards was pretty awesome. It brightened up my eyes and gave me a seductive look. Yes, a seductive look! Lashes have the power to do that.
I tried a Keratin Lash Lift courtesy of The Beauty Avenue by Mhaan. The procedure was about an hour and a half. I had no idea what to expect and truth be told I was a bit nervous. Anything having to do with my face, especially my eyes and panic sets in.
Of course, I trusted Mhaan whole heartedly since she’d done such a great job doing Kianna’s prom hair and make up and my second boudoir shoot.
The challeneg is to keep your eyes closed for an hour and a half which was tough! There were stages of total darkness, heaviness and some pressure. Afterwards, I teared up a bit from the sudden light and the work that had been done to my lashes.

It’s quite a complex procedure so you should never entrust a Keratin Lash Lift with someone who hasn’t taken a course or at least studied it very well.

The result though was subtle yet amazing. My usually downward lashes were swept up and stayed that way for about 3-5 weeks. Of course, I took proper care of them such as not rubbing my eyes, combing them upwards and making sure not to wet them for the 24 ours after the procedure.

The procedure has encouraged me to prettify my lashes when I go out especially when I attend events. It does make a difference. Both outwardly and inwardly. Can you believe lashes can give you a boost of confidence?
Here’s a before and after look of my eyelashes. Can you see the difference? My lashes are so short but they still looked pretty and yes girly. Exactly, what I was going for.
