When I was in search of something to help sleep a friend recommended magnesium oil. My friend, Joan has an online shop called Koi’s Choice where they sell natural and organic products. She highly recommended a natural alternative which I gave a try.
I was advised to put the magnesium oil on my arms and legs right before I was about to sleep. Best results come though if you are laying down and sleeping not when you still plan to laze around and check your social media or Netflix.
I did as she said and rubbed some on my arms and legs just before I closed my eyes to sleep. The anticipation of wanting to sleep was there and slowly I started to feel my arms and legs get heavier as if there was an added weight of sorts.
When I would wake I’d be surprised at the time that went by. Longer than I would usually sleep and I felt as if I had slept deeply which isn’t the case most of the time. I’m a very light sleeper and will wake every couple of hours but when I used this I could sleep 4 hours straight.

Cons
- A bit greasy on application. You just need to rub until it’s not so oily.
- Constant use gave me peeling skin.
- Need to be very careful not to put next to or apply on anything metallic.
