Slime making is not new to our household. Kianna and Jael have had a try at it so they had a pretty good idea of what to expect when we attended the Elmers Grand Slime Time Fair at Eastwood Mall. It was a 2 day event with workshops, activities and of course a bunch of slime fun!

If you’re going to make slime that lasts you need to use the best materials so make sure you stop by your nearby National Book Store for the most important ingredient, Elmers Glue. Slime making has become so much fun because now you can make all kinds. The best part is that Elmers Glue has a variety of glue you can use from glitter glue to color glue.

The workshop we attended was for Jelly Slime making by Nina Hidalgo. This particular slime idea requires clear glue, baking soda, contact lens solution, and cube sponges. You can add food coloring to make different kinds of colored jelly slime.

Activities like this are always a welcome treat for the kids and I. I get to spend time with them and they get to do something fun. National Book Store always has activities and events to join.

A week doesn’t go by that we don’t visit National Book Store. The kids are always needing something for school and I’m glad that they have everything we need.

It was even more fun attending with fellow mommy blogger friends, Kaye of I Love Keisha and Louise of Mommy Practicality.

The kids tried their hand at slime making at home and were so happy they made a few more!
