I started Christmas decorating and gift shopping a bit late this year. Mainly it was time and budget but I’m not worried. I’ve had my eye on a few things from National Book Store to give as gifts. I like giving gifts that are useful and practical and National Book Store always fits the bill. They’ve got books, educational toys, and even trinkets. What’s nice about shopping there is everything is in an easy to find area. For a branch as big as the one that they have at SM North EDSA that’s very helpful.
Christmas Zone
I’m only just getting around to decorating at home. Normally everything would be up by the 1st of December. I needed to get going so I bought new decorations from their Christmas Zone and picked up some really cute items. I love reds and greens and Santas and Snowmans. Just doesn’t seem to be complete without them.
They have a really good selection at SM North EDSA and you can go vintage, cutesy, or modern with the various designs they have. I saw some really great Christmas designed tin cans AND snow globes! I absolutely love snow globes.
One of the things I really love about National Book Store during the holiday season are their Christmas tree displays. They have some really great set ups and ideas. Here’s one of a tree made from books. As a book lover I think that’s an incredibly creative and fantastic idea. How awesome right? I’d love to have a Christmas tree made from books.
If you’re a little late to decorating like me here’s a few tree design suggestions. I adore the Candy Cane inspired tree!
Gift Zone
Now for the gift buying! I’m always on a budget which can sometimes be restricting and time consuming. It’s a big help that National Book Store has gift bundles and gift categories. They even have a highlighted aisle organized by budget and by people you’re giving to. It makes it that much easier to shop for loved ones.
Gift Wrapping Zone
After you’ve chosen your gifts you can head on over to their Gift Wrapping Zone to have them wrapped. This is most convenient for those who don’t have the time to personally wrap gifts or for those who would like their gifts to look presentable and professionally wrapped.
The 5-step Easy Wrapping Guide should make it easier to personalize it so that it has that touch of you.
- Choose your wrapper (or a complete bundle).
- Choose your washi tape.
- Choose your ribbon.
- Choose your tag.
- Choose your wrapping style.
For every purchase worth Php 1,000 you get a free gift sack which could be the gift wrap itself. It looks like a nicely tied Santa bag!
Take a tour with me and see the decorations and gift ideas you can choose from at their SM North EDSA branch.

What’s stopping me from shopping early is time kasi i have to tag along my 3kids at am yayaless , the budget din for buying gifts and ive been thinking not to put on so much decors as my toddler and baby prefers harvesting . What i like bout NBS is they’ve all we need, crafting, school supplies, trendy stuff perfect for gift giving tapos if budget wise ka my mga naka separate na kng how much lang ang limit so definitely saves time.❤️ Able to visit NBS last weekend and am so amazed at am able to buy too pang exchange gift ng eldest ko.
