It’s always a treat when I get to have my Dairy Queen Blizzard. It’s not on my list of foods I can really eat right now but I always make an exception when I can. Believe it or not, I used to have a Blizzard every time I went to the mall. I guess I can credit Dairy Queen for the weight gain! Yet, Blizzards are so delicious and I love trying the new flavors of the month every time they come out.

The new flavors were officially launched as well as a Christmas cake with Binibining Pilipinas queens, Mis International first-runner up Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Globe Top 15 Finalist Michele Gumabao, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Eva Patalinjug and Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Karen Gallman.

For the holidays, the new flavors are Hershey’s Kisses with Almonds in Mango Cookie, Double Cocoa and Cookie Buttercrisp. Of the 3, I really enjoyed Double Cocoa. Cookie Buttercrisp is supposed to have a cookie butter taste and essentially it does but if you’re looking for that Lotus Biscoff flavor it’s a detour from that.

They were also launched in a festive Blizzard cup with the theme “Spoonful of Joy”.

I’m making sure to get a last cup of Double Cocoa before the new year comes in along with its new flavors.

Though Blizzard prices have gone up, an occasional treat is worth it. Today prices are at Mini Php69 | Regular Php85 | Medium Php109 | Large Php139.

As for their ice cream cakes, These are priced at Php699 and Php769 depending on the type. We had a Dairy Queen Blizzard Cake in Oreo (Php769) for Kianna’s birthday.
