One of my ultimate gluttonous moments has got to be the amount of butter I consume when I eat toast. First I layer the toast with butter then I put that chunk of Anchor Butter in front of me and get a pat for every bite. See how indulgent I am when it comes to butter? And mind you, I only do this with Anchor butter. Any other just doesn’t taste right. Now you can see why I was thrilled to attend Anchor Dairy’s “A Whole Lot To Love” event introducing their new products! Yes, new yummy delights to explore, consume and love. As soon as I saw what they were I was already trying to come up with easy butter cheese milk recipes. Yes, you read that right.
Anchor Dairy now produces cheese and variations of milks and creams. Heaven for a dairy lover like me. There was definitely a whole lot to love at Single Origin Rockwell in Makati where the press event was held. The event hosted by Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi (girl crush alert!) was a chance to try Anchor inspired recipes and learn more about how Anchor Dairy products are made and why they’re considered to be the best.
Anchor is a brand owned and produced by Fonterra, a co-operative of 10,500 farming families in where else but New Zealand. Instantly you can imagine the cows grazing in healthy patches of long grass fields which is what makes Anchor products better since the cows are grass fed all year long.
As Mike Boness, General Manager for Fonterra Brands shared at the event, “there are more cows and sheep than people in New Zealand…” An interesting fact is that the cows are so well taken care of that classical music is played as they’re being milked for better production.
Celebrity blogger Sherilyn Tan, Chef Miko Aspiras and Chichi Tullao of Happy Tummy Travels also shared how they used Anchor products both in their personal and professional lives.
Have you tried any of these new Anchor Dairy Products yet?
If you’re wondering what Anchor inspired recipes were served at the event, here’s a slideshow to make your mouth water and tell yourself to have a cheat day just to eat all this. Which is what I did exactly. Mind you I didn’t finish these but I had quite a hefty serving of each.
Of course, I had to have a go at making Anchor inspired recipes at home and what place is the best to get recipes for easy butter cheese milk recipes than their website!
Pancakes Topped with Anchor Cheddar Cheese
This first one is actually my own idea. Kianna made pancakes and I generously topped it with Anchor Salted Butter and Cheddar Cheese.
Cheesy Potato Bake
This picture just doesn’t do justice to just how good this is. If I do say so myself it’s absolutely delicious. My kids (and myself!) went back for seconds, thirds, and so on!
The best thing about it is that it’s so easy to make.
Find the recipe here.
Creamy Penne with Parmesan Cheese
I’m a huge pasta lover and sometimes my kids have no choice but to accept that pasta is a big part of our lives. I made my usual pasta dish but used Anchor Full Cream Milk and Shredded Cheddar. This has bacon and mushrooms and I topped it with Anchor Parmesan Cheese.

Wow, I didn’t know that Anchor has actually butter product. Anyway, I am a huge fan of Anchor milk, and surely I will love their butter cheese as well. I love that you’ve shared your recipes with us, which all looks so tempting and delicious, I would love to try them all. I might consider trying the recipe you’ve shared in one of your suggested links. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Looks like th ecreamy penne is a best seller. Most likely, my boys would love that, too, should I cook something like that. As for the butter, we also use Anchor. It has a certain or distinct flavor that is only Anchor. Same with the powder milk. My boys love their milk more than other brands.
ooohhh may cheese na sa anchor? That cheesy potato bake looks so hot and yummy… I’ll try out that recipe tomorrow for merienda ng mga bagets. ❤
