Shakeaway Milkshakes have Arrived in the Philippines!

THE world’s largest milkshake bar has hit the Philippine shores! Get your fill of Shakeaway milkshakes at their flagship store in UP Town Center. Officially opening to the public last November 25, Shakeaway originated in the UK and reinvented the milkshake in 1993 now having over 50 stores worldwide.

Can you believe they have over 180 different delicious ingredients? Think it and they probably have it! From M&Ms to fresh fruits to luxury chocolates your desired milkshake isn’t far from your reach. You can literally have a different milkshake combo and never have the same milkshake twice.

The milkshake flavours are split into various different categories ranging from fruity to chocolatey, cakey, biscuity, sweet to soda and more. Only top brand ingredients are being used to come up with delightful milkshake creations and you have the option to have ice cream or 100% fat-free frozen yoghurt. Another innovative idea is that you can order your milkshake hot. I bet you haven’t heard of that!

Our most popular milkshake is the “Dave” made with Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Bueno and Cadbury’s Flakes, it tastes so amazing. There’s also our Philippines national exclusive shake named “Jose” made of local ube and sweet macapuno topped with crunchy pinipig. I ordered the “Max” with chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate filled mint candy with milk chocolate chips on top. They definitely don’t scrimp on the toppings. To the last drop there were brownie bits and chocolate chips. I really liked this shake. Going for the “Dave” on my next visit!

Milkshakes aren’t their only specialty though. They’ve also re-invented yoghurt giving consumers a healthier and guilt free dessert option. The ‘Megan” has peaches and mango while the “Elijah” is a sweet and crunchy mix of crushed maltesers and marshmallows topped with a drizzle of caramel.

With a secret blending process Shakeaway adds Smoothies to their dessert menu which is ideal for a tropical country such as ours. Give the “Betty” a try with its mix of fresh cut sweet strawberries and bananas topped with your choice of a free topping.

Lastly, they have Shaved Ice which has less than 160 calories per serving. Their Shaved Ice is made from 100% all natural real fruit puree topped with fresh cut sweet fruit, handmade to order.
