The much-anticipated TLC Festival will be happening on Saturday, November 5 2016. With over 50,000 fans in attendance last year, the 2016 edition of TLC Festival boasts a Global Village comprising of worldly experiences including live entertainment, artisanal activities and gastronomic cuisines from around the world.
From 11am, loyal viewers of TLC will have the opportunity to globetrot across the world at Bonifacio High Street and experience the excitement of being part of Southeast Asia’s leading travel and lifestyle channel. TLC fans will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with their favourite personalities – bubbly travel host Janet Hsieh from Fun Taiwan, the charming Dan Churchill and Hayden Quinn from Surfing The Menu: Next Generation, and America’s all-time favourite baker, Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.
“Once again, we are excited to bring the TLC brand to life in the Philippines to create a unique and memorable event for our dedicated fans. For this year’s TLC Festival, we have put together the best travel, lifestyle and culinary experiences in collaboration with nine partner brands for a bigger and bolder celebration,” said Louis Boswell, General Manager, Discovery Southeast Asia. “As one of our leading markets in the region, we are committed to delivering relevant content that will appeal to the Philippines viewer – with favourites such as Fun Taiwan and Cake Boss; to Surfing the Menu: Next Generation, a new addition to the TLC family.”
Between meeting the TLC stars, TLC Festival Global Village guests can indulge in workshops and activities inspired by cultural icons from around the world: learn the basics of food-styling from our TLC chef together with co-presenter Del Monte Spaghetti Sauce, and have a drink with us and returning partner brand San Miguel Lifestyle Brews. Hosted by comedian Eri Neeman, festival goers can also look forward to the band Apartel of rock icon Ely Buendia, on the main stage, as well as cooking demos, talent appearances and stage games.
TLC Festival 2016 is open to all and admission is free. Participants are advised to bring their rain gear as it will be a “rain-or-shine” event. For updates, visit www.tlcfestival.com.

I was at the TLC event last year and now my friends and I are planning to come back this Saturday because we had so much fun then. We received freebies, ate food, and watched shows . It’s just that I wasn’t able to register early so I won’t be able to do the other activities that they’ve prepared like the origami workshop. Would have loved to try that one out.
TLC is actually my favr channel hehe so sad that I can’t make it. Heard so many great things about last years festival. Please do blog about it!
