At this point in my life, health and wellness is becoming a bigger and bigger focus. I try to eat in moderation and since I’ve been bringing Jael to and from school I’ve gotten a little more activity. I love supporting wellness activities and I was excited to have a zumba session care of Robinsons Supermarket at First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA).
Our zumba session was part of Robinsons Supermarket’s Wellness Caravan to bring more awareness about health and wellness and how they can partner with you on your journey to creating a healthy lifestyle for yourself.
Health and Wellness with Robinsons Supermarket
We were there bright and early and had breakfast (and lunch!) at their restaurant Tipulo.Ā I hadn’t done zumba in awhile but I was really looking forward to it and being amongst friends and fellow bloggers made it even more fun.
It was a grueling zumba session (for me at least!) and we did 15 songs. Can you believe it? The zumba session however, made me more motivated to get back to doing zumba at least once a week (if I can fit it into my busy schedule!). Zumba on an early Saturday morning was actually more fun than I thought it would be. I felt energized and ready for the day ahead.
After our zumba session we headed to Robinsons Antipolo to learn more about their health and wellness offerings. They launched July as their Freshtival month with many discounts and rewards for shoppers who would purchase their healthy items.
On this particular weekend, Robinsons Supermarket in their Antipolo branch had a range of healthy activities for customers to try. Customers were given a passport that had 6 activities to be accomplished. When all 6 were completed they would be given a special prize.
Robinsons Antipolo is fairly new having opened just last year. Their supermarket is fresh to the eyes and senses with their bright and colorful displays.
We were introduced to some of the brands participating in their Wellness Caravan and got to try them as well. Ceres has some amazing drink options.
If you’re a loyal Robinsons Supermarket consumer I’m sure you’ve seen these posters and their many Freshtival tags in the various lanes.
Every day has a special Freshtival offering to watch out for. This makes it more fun to shop and like most moms, I also like to look for great deals that give me double the benefit. Their vegetable display is so appealing and as you can see very fresh.
Robinsons Supermarket’s specialty are these specially arranged aisles where they offer you various health options. You can easily choose from these products depending on what your concentration is. For me it’s Weight Control and Guilt Free Low Sugar since Hubby has diabetes. It makes it much easier to shop and watch your diet!
They also put on display these cards which you can check if the products are certified healthy by the Food and Nutrition Research Institution. Three checks means they are!
This is just one of the many deals they’re offering to promote health and wellness.
Here are the games I mentioned earlierĀ and we were given a chance to play them as well. This is a cool one. You have to cycle so you can blend the watermelon slices and make yourself a drink!
I got a chance to play this at Robinsons Supermarket’s launch for the Freshtival wellness festival and let me tell you it’s not as easy as it looks!
This was a tandem riding game where you had to bike and finish the “healthy” course.
I played a game where I had to spell out I love wellness using balls that had letters on them. Not as easy as it sounds, I had to find the letters in a tub full of balls.
Johnson’s and Johnson’s Milk and Oats is also part of the wellness festival.
Freshtival is happening in all Robinsons Supermarkets until the end of the month. Take advantage of the many healthy options, deals and discounts!

Zumba (or any exercise) in the morning is SUCH a great start to the day! Probably even more zumba actually… because of the fun music! and I love the idea of stores having challenges. Good for you!
The wellness festival looks so good, I wish we had something like that in our supermarkets here!
I have never tried Zumba but it looks like a lot of fun. Good for you for making some positive changes in your life. Robinsons looks like a fabulous store.
It’s great that supermarkets are focussing more on health and well-being! I know here, there seems to be a perpetual discount on ice creams, chocolate, sweets etc. All of which are awful for my health!
Zumba is actually my favorite kind of sport. It’s so fun!
