It’s always exciting to do activities with the kids. This time around Jael and I joined a baking workshop specially conducted for the Mommy Bloggers Philippines members. We spent a Saturday afternoon at The Maya Kitchen learning how to make cupcakes!

We just recently got a convection oven so I was looking forward to learning how to make Strawberries and Cream and Peanut Butter and Choco Chip cupcakes.

Maya may be a familiar name as it’s what you probably use to make pancakes! They also have various baking products and so far we’ve tried making their brownies and buttercake. The Maya Kitchen holds classes everyday and even on weekend with varying courses. If you’re looking to learn or improve your baking and cooking skills The Maya Kitchen has plenty to offer.

During our session we were paired with 2 other mommies, Nadia and Bave and their kids, Rio and Q, respectively. It made baking all the more fun. The kids took turns mixing, whipping, and putting ingredients.

Jael enjoyed our baking workshop especially the icing and sprinkles part!

The Maya Kitchen is very kid friendly offering classes for just kids. They also offer classes for families and have lessons for adults. Check out their June calendar here.
