Goldilocks is truly a household name when it comes to cakes and snacks. Once upon a time my husband used to work at Golidlocks as a supervisor and we enjoyed plenty of Goldilocks goodies on his employee discount.
That’s why we were more than thrilled to join Goldilocks on their 50th Birthday Caravan at Enchanted Kingdom! Happy Birthday Goldilocks! Goldilocks celebrated 50 Golden Years of being the country’s number one bakeshop, having opened its doors to the public on May 15, 1966.
Jael was so excited to celebrate Goldilocks’ 50th birthday! His favorite Goldilocks treat is their Classic Polvoron. Mine? The list will go on and on but anytime I visit I always leave with their Chocolate Cake Slices which Kianna also loves. Oliver likes their Egg Pie and Cheesy Hamonado Ensaymada while Bastian goes crazy for their Banana Bread Slices. They used to have a Calamansi muffin which I really iked but I haven’t seen that on their shelves lately. Bring it back! Bring it back!
Goldilocks has become a Filipino icon and a cherished family tradition for generations of customers. As part of its ongoing festivities, Goldilocks has lined up delightful activities through its Birthday Caravan, including a two-day visit to Enchanted Kingdom. Employees, friends, loyal customers, and members of traditional and online media were treated to a carefree and fun-filled experience at the amusement park, in keeping with the celebratory atmosphere of the 50th year anniversary.
Vice Ganda kalokalike entertained the crowd with her bit.
The Goldilocks Birthday Caravan is one of many initiatives that the Philippines’ best-loved bakeshop has undertaken this year, in order to commemorate five decades filled with sweet moments and countless Filipino celebrations. Even after half a century of leadership, however, Goldilocks is still moving forward, finding new and innovative ways to serve its next generation of customers.
Enchanted Kingdom was the perfect place to celebrate and employees, winners of their Birthday Caravan contest and media guests spent a fun-filled day riding the different attractions.
Since it was Jael and I for the day we mostly spent our time at Boulderville. I’d lost my taste for thrilling rides years back when I was traumatized by a vomit inducing ride. Jael was more adventurous than I was!Â
I was relegated to riding this kiddie rollercoaster and even then I feared for my life! With my eyes closed and holding Jael’s hand I screamed throughout this ride. What’s more disturbing though was that Jael was laughing and yelling. He obviously wasn’t terrified and later when we got down from it he had to announce to everyone that I was scared. Nice going, Jael!
Thanks for having us! Happy Birthday Goldilocks!

what a nice post. it is so nice to read how mom and child had a day of bonding. what a day well spent! specially when kids nowadays, grow up so fast. more fun moments with your son mommy louisa…. 🙂
Wow, 50 years na pala sila. I grew up eating Goldilocks products and my all time favorite is their polvoron. 🙂 I missed EK, it’s been three years since our last visit.
ahhh goldilocks! During my college days I would go and stay at the Buendia branch(near the bus stations) and order 3 things: egg pie for my mom and sister, apple rasin loaf for me and my other siblings and sago’t gulaman to quench and drive away the thirst plus stresses of understanding Analytical Geometry and Calculus.. :3 Can’t believe that it’s already been up for 50 years!
Cheers to another 50 years or more, yes? I really hope so, because their celebration cakes are another joy that should be shared to the world hehehehe
Wow. It looks like Jael had so much fun! This a great Mommy-Son bonding! Natawa ako when he announced to everyone that you were scared. Hahaha.
Surely the little boy had fun. Very evident sa smile. And so generous of Goldilocks to share their blessings to media friends, loyal customers, and employees.
Happy birthday Goldilocks. 🙂
Konting kwento lang, there’s a Goldilocks factory right in front of our house. This is the bread, puto and brownies factory.
Hi Edel, Really? I’m sure it smells great where you live then!
I’m happy to see you again in EK sis! We had a great time too! However, we had to go home early and alas, we got stuck in traffic so halos sabay lang din namin ang bus umuwi! lol!
Hi Nilyn, It was great seeing you, too! Traffic was pretty bad!
We (my son and I) would have wanted to attend this event, but Justin needed to attend his swimming lessons in school that day. We’ve never been to Enchanted Kingdom yet.
We love Goldilocks and we’re one with them in celebrating their 50th year! PS: Their mascot looks sooo cute haha
It’s been a while since we’ve visited EK. Maybe this year, we’ll take the kids again, now that the little one is not so little anymore.
My favorite in Goldilocks is their polvoron. I remember eating nothing else but the polvoron for lunch for months in high school.
I love the choco roll from Goldilocks! 🙂 Spending its birthday at Enchanted is such a fun idea! Looks like you and Jael had loads of fun! 🙂
Goldi is a household name! I remember celebrating my birthdays with cakes from goldi but my all time favorite will always be the polvoron and mamon, which Bunny loves too!
Looks like the kids enjoyed the rides! Its been ages ago since I last visited Enchanted Kingdom. We hope to go there with the kids too. Happy 50 years to Goldilocks!
Wow, Goldilocks is 50! But then again they’ve been around since I was a kid so… yeah! 😀
Oh My Goldilocks! Grew up with their mocha and chocolate cake. I loved them since I first tasted them and who would have though that they have been with us, sharing every single special moment with our lives for 50 years now.
Btw your son had really a great day on Enchanted Kingdom. It vibrates on his face… I missed going to EK whenever I am there I can unleash the child in me and for a day forget my worries 🙂
Sayang I was not able to come because of work, it looks cool. We love goldilocks imagine 50 years na sila.
So Goldilocks has a birthday caravan? Cool! I’m sure most children would have enjoyed being there just like your kid did. There were even some rides to enjoy.
