Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the longest and most significant celebration in the Chinese calendar. It is not only a time to honour cultural traditions and customs, but also a time for families to bond over good food and warm fellowship.
Chinese cuisine has become part of almost every important celebration and life milestone, like birthdays, graduations, fiestas and holidays. As a tribute to Filipinos who cook for their families “from the heart”, one leading food brand, Good Life proudly brings the distinct Asian culinary flavors into more Filipino kitchens and family occasions.
“Good Life aims to make your celebrations more memorable by bringing out the best flavors of your dishes. So for 2016, we decided to put up an elaborate event for both the Filipino and Chinese community to enjoy. We are excited for everyone to try out the activities that our whole team has prepared all throughout the day, “said Fly Ace Corporation’s General Manager, Ramon P. Daez.
The Good Life Flavors of Fortune event at Trinoma was filled with many activities. Upon registration you are given a passport to avail of goodies and services from each booth.
2016 is the Year of the Fire Monkey and if you’re wondering what’s in store for you have a look at this Horoscope board that they had on display.
Present at the event were a culinary feast at the Good Life Chinese Food Fair, the 1st ever Good Life Chinese Culinary Cook Off in partnership with the Center for Culinary Arts Manila, and Chinese Cuisine Cooking Demos!

I would have loved to see this event! Looks like so much fun, plus lots of good eats pa. 🙂
Nice event. Sayang I was at the other end of the town that time.
I saw the paintings when we went to Trinoma one time. Sayang didn’t know my fortune telling pala.
Looks like a nice event, they have activities for everyone 🙂
The Chinese culture is something that I really should know more about since my great grandmother is pure Chinese. It’s very interesting, actually.
Anyway, I am familiar with this brand, Good Life. I’ve purchased a couple of them before.
That faber-castell booth looks exciting. It caught my attention at once. I am not into Chinese stuff like this but it is interesting.
It’s a great New Year event by Good Life. They did a great job that day.
I think I’ve tried one or two Good Life products before. Hope to buy and try more of their products in the future.
What a fun event! Plus, it’s so culturally rich! I love those passport type events. 🙂
It looks like a great way to welcome Chinese New Year!
Did you know that “Chinese New Year” is celebrated by Chinese a bit differently depending on which country you are? E.g. Chinese in the Philippines celebrate it differently from in Malaysia, from different parts of China, from Hongkong, etc. Wala lang, reading your post made me miss the Filipino version of CNY. Super missing the tikoy and our mall celebrations 🙂
Good to dos for the chinese new year, sayang I wasn’t able to drop by!
I love Good Life products! This event is something to look forward to next year.
We use that brand here at home. A staple on my grocery list. 🙂 Great event.
