Nothing is more magical than watching the Disney on Ice show. Truly, even at this age I really enjoyed the show and was still in awe of my favorite, The Little Mermaid. We were so happy to be watching it again this year, this time with the addition of Frozen.
The last time we watched it my teens were still so young and we had General Admission seats as you can tell from the picture below. I got a bit nostalgic as we were waiting for the show to start. I couldn’t help but reminisce when we last watched it and how the kids have grown so much.
We watched Disney on Ice in 2005 and as you can see my teens were still so small.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a family picture since our camera way back when just wasn’t made to capture selfies.
This is them today and though they’ve grown so much they still enjoyed the show. Kianna loves Belle of Beauty and the Beast and Bastian was just enjoying it overall.
Jael liked Frozen and watching Sebastian from The Little Mermaid since his Kuya also has the same name.
My all time favorite Disney Princess movie is The Little Mermaid with Cinderella being a close second. I still know the songs from The Little Mermaid to heart and was actually singing along while watching. It’s amazing how disciplined yet graceful the dancers were. Especially Ariel when she climbed that rope.
The choreography and the magical array of colors blew me away and impressed me and even my husband who’s not big on this sort of thing.
The Beauty and the Beast was also an excellent show. The moment that the Beast transforms into his human self is well, magical. I think I’ve overused this word already but it aptly describes every bit of this show.
I haven’t watched Tangled yet so I wasn’t as interested as I was with the other parts of the show. Though, having watched Cinderella (Meryl Streep & Anna Kendrick version) I knew the storyline.
When Frozen began, there was a silence then yells from the crowd. It was the most awaited part of the show being such a big favorite among the kids (and adults). The snow falling was beautiful and you could feel like you’re with them (even as far back as we were).
To cap off, Disney on Ice was fantastic! It was so much fun to watch and captivates the hearts of young and old alike. When Christmas rolls along again, we’ll definitely plan to see this show!
Thank you to Araneta Center and Mommy Bloggers Philippines for the opportunity to experience Disney on Ice!

I love Little Mermaid too! I didn’t get to watch this but I heard it was an awesome show. We watched Disney on Ice before but the seats were not so great. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable for my eldest son and he was our only child back then.
One of my childhood dreams was to watch this.Maybe someday I could warch it with my daughter.
Missed this because we went out of the country. Seems like a great show!
this never gets old talaga, a show really worth watching EVRY YEAR! 🙂
Would want to watch this show talaga kaso my boys arent interested. Even the husband doesnt want to accompany me. Ihihihi.
Looks super fun! I am so looking forward to tagging along my daughter once she grows a bit older pa. Enough to appreciate this.
This really does look memorable. How I wish I can watch Disney on Ice, too!
Second time to watch Disney on Ice and first time to watch it with my little one. My son was really amazed and literally did not look away for the entire show hehe
We missed this. I was really thinking if buying tix for my almost 2 yr old daughter who adores Frozen now would be worth it. Tix are not cheap at all. But I guess it’s all worth it. I hope next year we would get to watch. Mas malaki na ang bagets nun.
