SM Storyland has opened at SM North EDSA! Another attraction for families to enjoy during their trips to the mall, the SM Storyland Gaming Hub is not your usual kiddie theme park. Located at the lower ground floor of the main mall (food court area), the gaming facilities and activities are sure to capture the arcade and gaming enthusiast’s attention.
Their soft launch happened on December 18 just in time for Christmas where a blessing was conducted and media, bloggers and friends were able to try out the new games and rides.
The gaming hub has activities and games for every age. Toddlers and young kids have a free play area they can roam around and discover while their Kuya and Ate have tons of gaming options. There are six gaming areas and amenities- PS4 Gaming, Tom’s World, Videoke Booth, Oculus, Playoke, and Inflatables.
Small rides for the little ones.
Singing wanna-be’s and enthusiasts are welcome to sing their heart out at these videoke booths.
The latest in PS 4 gaming with a total of 8 stations.
Traditional video games with a spin. These games have higher specs.
This was the most exciting feature for me. The Oculus is a virtual reality 3D experience where you feel so immersed in the game you feel like it’s real. It was my first time to try it and I was all over the place! I had to catch myself after a few minutes because I was so into what was happening.
SM Storyland has 5 theme parks throughout the nation: SM San Lazaro, SM Mariloa, SM Batangas, SM Cebu and SM Iloilo. There are around 80 “stand-alone” in mall rides scattered in 35 SM Centers and Supermalls.
Being the country’s biggest indoor theme park with the most number of branches, SM Storyland has been known for relaxation, fun and safe rides and enjoyment for the whole family. Most parks have their own party venues where birthdays can be enjoyed with mascots Sgt. March, Eggbert, Lionel and Ellie. Remember them for your next birthday planning!
