Smartphones nowadays come with pretty decent memory cards but if you have teens like I do where music seems to be their whole life or a pre-schooler who has a tablet full of educational apps then they’ll need that extra storage. I was browsing for SD cards and found this very affordable Toshiba 32 gb micro SD card.
I chose 32gb costing me only Php549 (45%) but there are also 16gb (Php349) and 64gb (Php1129) SD cards.
This Toshiba 32 gb SD is pretty hefty on specifications:

I used the SD card I purchased for Jael’s tablet since his apps require more storage. Mainly, my DinnerTime Plus app to keep track and limit his usage and our favorite Speakaboos story app. Both of which I’ve featured on the blog.
And incredibly small it is. You’ll need to take extra care handling it and putting it in the slot. Dimensions are at 1.35(H) 0.47(L) W(0.29)and it only weighs 0.1kg.

Now Jael has more space and we can add more educational and fun apps for our little guy. If you can see below, although the SD card is 32gb the available space will be 28.97gb to give way to certain space required for the SD card to work on your device. Still plenty of storage though.
We’ve been using it for more than a week and so far so good. I’m planning on getting my teens these SD cards now that I see it works fine.
