Fans are a staple in any home. We don’t have an aircon but we have electric fans to make sure we have proper circulation. Living on the 5th floor we really don’t need an aircon as it’s quite airy and even windy when the weather hits the rainy to cold season. Recently, one of our electric fans broke and so I was looking for a replacement and was eyeing a Nikon stand fan I saw on Ensogo.
I saw this Nikon 3L PP Dual Blade with Big Switch 16″ Stand Fan which was pretty much a steal at 27% off making it only Php899.
Having owned many fans I’m pretty much familiar with what makes for a sturdy fan. The specs for this fan are:
- 3 speed control, Powerful airflow
- Oven baked painted grill
- Quality virgin plastic materials
- Flexible neck & 90 degree oscillation
- Automatic thermal cut off fuse for safety
- Energy efficient & Maintenace free motor
- Wattage: 60
We’ve had the kind of fan where you have a dial to choose the speed and fans like this where you had a button type option. Both options work fine unless you have toddlers turning on the fans and they mistakenly turn or press it too hard making it unusable after some time.
It comes with a mini fan you can add to create more air circulation. In our case, we only used the standard blade that came with the fan and the wind is very strong at just number 1.
Overall, this fan has worked fine. It’ll only be over time that we’ll see just how sturdy and strong it will remain. Our electric fans usually last a few years so hopefully this Nikon stand fan lasts longer!
