The holidays are less than a month away and I’m sure just like me you’re thinking about what to prepare for the festivities. Though I may not be the main chef at home, I’m pretty much the deciding vote. I decided to experiment with the very creamy and delicious Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup. I scoured the internet for cream of mushroom recipes and found 3 that I thought my family would enjoy.
Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup is a quality product of USA and having tried all sorts of Jolly products they’ve got a loyal consumer in me. Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup is high in protein which makies it a good source of energy.
Gone are the days of slaving over the stove to cook a meal. Today, us busy moms need to be able to create delicious yet easy dishes. Time is also a big factor so these meals also need to have reasonable prep and cooking times. For a meal, 30 minutes to one hour seems reasonable enough and the 3 recipes I’m sharing with you fit the bill.
Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops
Ingredients:
2 slices bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
5 pork loin chops
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup 10.5oz
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Procedure:
1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on a paper towel. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon fat from the skillet.
2. Sprinkle pork chops with garlic salt and pepper. Add pork chops to bacon fat in skillet over medium heat. Cook the pork for 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned. Remove pork from the skillet and set aside.
3. Stir in Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup and green onions. Reduce heat then simmer uncovered for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
4. Return pork to skillet. Cover and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until pork is cooked.
5. Sprinkle with bacon.
Jolly Creamy Chicken Mushroom Burger
Burger Steak is a pretty popular dish for us Filipinos and what I’ve done is to make it a step easier by buying ready to cook burger patties.
Ingredients:
10pcs burger patties
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 can Jolly Pieces and Stem Mushroom
1 can Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup 10.5oz
1/2 cup Jolly Cow Freshmilk
1 tsp ground pepper
Dash salt
Procedure:
1. Heat the butter.
2. Saute onion and 1 can of Jolly Pieces and Stem Mushroom.
3. Add Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup, milk, salt and ground pepper.
4. Simmer until mixture thickens.
5. Pour the sauce over the fried patties.
Bangus with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
1 deboned bangus
4 tbsp butter
1 small onion finely chopped
1 can Jolly Premium Sliced Mushrooms
1 can Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup 10.5oz
4 tbsps all purpose flour
1 cup chicken stock
3 tbsp cream
salt and pepper to taste
garlic chips
Procedure:
1. Melt 2 tbsps of butter in a saucepan. Add chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes.
2. Add Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup, cream and chicken stock.
3. Stir occasionally and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Season with salt and ground pepper.
5. Season bangus with salt and pepper then coat each piece with flour.
6. Fry bangus until crisp then set out on a plate.
7. Pour the sauce over the fried bangus.
And there you have it! Three easy to make dishes that you can have for the holidays!
