Usually you’ll find hotel dinner buffets more central to the metro such as in Ortigas or Makati so it was a real treat to learn that Hotel Rembrandt is offering a Dinner Buffet for us QC folks. Their dinner buffet offering is every Thursday and Friday from 6pm-10pm at Hotel Rembrandt’s The Lobby. At only Php650.00 you’re getting an absolute deal with the sumptuous dishes that they have to offer.
Situated in the busy district of Tomas Morato, Hotel Rembrandt is a 7-storey boutique hotel with room accommodations, food & dining, social & corporate venues. The Lobby, their main dining offering has Filipino, Asian and Western food and I happily had a try of their generous spread.
Apple Broccoli Salad
Crunchy yet creamy salad which I’m hoping to replicate at home if I can only figure out the dressing used!
Assorted Fritters
My fave was the potato wedges but this is a good plate of fritters.
DIY Nachos
Antipasto Skewers
Creamy Tomato Cups
I’m not the dining conneseiur I’d like to be, so that’s probably why I was such in awe of these Creamy Tomato Cups. Imagine the work that went into creating this itty bitty creation.
Tomato and Beans Salad
Shrimp Pomelo Salad
Chicken Feet
Roast Chicken Ala Pobre
White Fish Vera Cruz
Broccoli and Cornet
Paella Negra
Grilled Prawns
Grilled Lamb Chops
French Roast Chicken
Pork Medallion in Western Gravy
The words pork medallion alone already describe the savory experience you’re in for.
Desserts
The dessert selection is quite simple at The Lobby. The real focus of this buffet, as you can see are the palatable dishes shown here.
Thank you to Gerry of Dude For Food and Hotel Rembrandt for the invite!
