Have you ever wondered how emotions are played out inside of you? This very question is answered in a fun yet thought provoking movie called Inside Out. Ordinarily, I don’t like to watch cartoons but this held my interest and more.
It was a family outing as we attended the second block screening featuring Inside Out courtesy of the Modworld Popcorn Club. Mommy Bloggers Philippines is a proud media sponsor and we were there to show our support and enjoy this movie made for families.
The Modworld Popcorn Club has lots in store for those who join the block screening event. Upon entrance ticket holders already had a chance at winning exciting prizes from sponsors.
Before the screening, a short talk about the GOPalakas program was given by Ms. Lali Balagtas of SIFCare. Nissin Yakisoba and Hunt’s Sauces sponsored games and gave out prizes to lucky audience members. We won a Hunt’s gift pack!
Freebies from the sponsors were given to all ticketholders. It was an enjoyable event and we were happy that Jael was treated to another movie.
The Inside Out premise was indeed interesting. A young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moves to San Francisco where her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness try to cope with the change.
The concept of emotions having a world of their own in your body makes so much sense! I was struck by the chain of events that almost but thankfully didn’t lead to the deadening of emotions.
I was so irritated at Sadness, I guess because as much as possible I don’t want sadness affecting those around me. The fact that sadness plays a heavy role in the development of a person made an impact. Without sadness there would be no happiness.
Even before the movie Jael was already in awe of sadness. Now I see why.
Don’t miss the next block screening! Check back for updates or follow Modworld on Facebook.

Is this still showing? I would really still want to catch up!
Hi Tina, unfortunately it’s no longer showing but hopefully you can catch it when it comes out on DVD> 🙂
I watched it with my hubby and kids. It was a thought-provoking, as well as, emotion-provoking movie, like learning the importance of sadness in our lives.
Nice movie. We all watched it too 🙂
I know this movie is really nice because I watched it in (YT) but only the teasers and trailers. Hope I catch it online sana available na sya online.
I watched this movie along with my daughter. However, she was not able to fully appreciate the movie. I guess she is too young to understand.

This is one of the movies I want to be watched by my son in the future.
We’re going to watch this today. The movie looks great. I’ve read the reviews, they say it’s a great movie.
This is a one-of-a-kind movie that actually has meaning! It’s rare to see that in animated movies nowadays (looking at you, Minions, hahaha).
Ako na lang ata di nakapanood nito lol.
Watched this with my 4 year old. He didn’t appreciate it yet though. We’d have to catch it again (on DVD) next time when he’s a bit older.
We love this movie! I think it’s one of the best animated films ever made. Genius!
I love this movie. It made me realize a lot of things about my child and the importance of the little things. This is really a great watch.
Sayang we weren’t able to see iNSIDE oUT. Will wait for the CD na lang.
