How many of you are familiar with laser tag? I know about this game and mostly know it from How I Met Your Mother where Barney is a laser tag fiend so I was excited to receive an invite to a mommy blogger laser tag party. When I told the kids about it they were really excited to try it. Especially Bastian who loves HIMYM.
Despite the rains we trooped on over to LazerXtreme at Market Market to experience laser tag. LazerXtreme is at the 4th floor and offers the best laser tag experience by using state-of-the-art equipment and world-class arenas.
Upon entering there’s a waiting area and tables and chairs because they also offer food at the Galaxy Snack Bar to energize you for your play time which you’ll definitely need. They offer pastas, pizza, sandwiches and light snacks and even have desserts.
We were pretty pumped for the first round. I’m not an active person so I knew this was going to be a tiring event even if it was only for 15 minutes. This is the pre-game room where you get your vests and guns from and a short video is played for you about the rules and regulations and scoring.
It’s a “hide and seek” arena with a maze of ramps, passages and secret chambers complete with glow-in-the-dark imagery, lights-in-motion, and music.
The rules state that there is no running, no climbing, no lying or crawling on the floor, no covering of opponents’ pack sensors, no physical contact, and no rude language. The no running part is a bit tough to follow especially for the kids. There is a need to be careful though as there are ramps and sharp corners. It’s dark in there and can be quite confusing at least for an inactive adult like me.
LazerXtreme uses NexusPRO Laser Packs from Australia which is equipped with LEDs attached to a light weight vest and phasor. The NexusPRO Laser Pack emits 8 different colors and beams which you get to choose. Ideally there are at least 2 to a team but you can have up to 5.
These 3 were psyched to try it! After the game Bastian was sweating profusely and excited to see his scoring, Kianna was excited for the next game and Jael was asking for the next round.
Me? After the first round I took a break from the next one. It was tiring but mostly because I was chasing after the little one. I decided to chat with the other mommy bloggers instead. It was really fun though and as we joked good exercise for us moms.
Game Rates:
Weekdays: Monday- Thursday- Php190
Weekends: Friday- Sunday & Holidays- Php220
They also offer party packages which includes a laser tag game and food.
Bon Chon
After playing you of course, gotta eat! We were treated to lunch at Bon Chon and to be honest it was my first time to dine there. I know there’s such a hype about it but I guess we just never got around to eating there as a family.

Bon Chon (meaning “hometown”), an American-Korean fusion serves a very unique chicken offering your choice of soy garlic, spicy, honey citrus or their newest crunchy garlic. I enjoyed the crispy and tasty chicken. Each chicken piece is individually hand-painted with their special glaze.
They also have Ko Yo in Blueberry and Mango. Surprisingly, I liked their yogurt. I’m not a yogurt fan but this was good.
I had an enjoyable time with my fellow mommy bloggers. Big thanks to Heidi Uy for the invite and for hosting this fun event. Looking forward to seeing more of Monika of Lipsticks and Moe, Joy of Occasions of Joy and Chrissy of Changing Nappies in High Heels! Thanks to LazerXtreme for an excellent time and letting my kids experience laser tag. Thanks to Bon Chon for the filling lunch and desserts!
I have been meaning to take my box to a LazerTag. Thanks for sharing your experience, very helpful.
I’ve never been here before yet. We could visit this place when my son gets older. 🙂
We’ve never tried Laser tag yet. It looks like a nice activity for the kids (and kids at heart). We love dining at Bonchon too.
What a fun game – great way to get some exercise and bond with the kids! I love Bon Chon’s Ko Yo, too!
Hi, for the game rates how many hours for that price? 🙂
Also, I love laser tag but sadly I always get caught. Hopefully my daughters do better in the future when we play it lol 🙂
Hi Jackie, It’s 15 minutes per game. 🙂
