Alas, the season of merriment and an excuse to eat is over… It’s time to get back to reality however, let me reminisce one of the things that made my holidays joyous. As you probably know, I’m a big sweets lover. HUGE actually, and when I learned that my friend Joy of joygurtiza.com was selling cheesecakes and other tempting sweets I had to buy.
My love for cheesecake goes way back when I first tried a blueberry cheesecake at a past job. The creaminess and sinful taste not only captured my attention but my husband’s as well. I was delighted that we would be having cheesecake for the holidays.
Initially (yes! I know, initially is a forerunner for so much more sweets that added to my waistline and whatever other fatty areas that I have), I ordered a blueberry cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. It was all gone in a day… To explain, we are a family of 5 so we have a perfectly acceptable explanation for the quick consumption.
I loved the blueberry cheesecake. It was so delicious and even though I am a sweets lover I prefer desserts that aren’t overly sweet. I guess that’s why the cheesecake went so fast but hey, there were 4 other people who ate their hearts out, too!
What’s better than chocolate chip cookies? Sometimes, nothing. It’s the perfect snack, dessert and comfort food. You can order Premium or Classic cookies the difference being in the chocolate used. I tried both and they were both deeelicious!
For the Christmas season my orders were in these cute tin cans and they make perfect gifts! To be honest, one can was SUPPOSED to be a gift but SOMEONE ate them….
Aside from blueberry, Joy also has cherry and oreo cheesecakes. You know what was next on my list!
You guessed it! I ordered another cheesecake, make that 2 and I got this creamy Oreo Cheesecake with Oreo bits. Heaven! I also ordered a plain cheesecake just for Oliver as requested. We also added another batch of cookies.
