Since we’ve gotten a car we’ve made a promise to go out more and try new restaurants. We were at Mall of Asia and had just been to Manila Bay. We were hungry so we looked for a place to eat and we came upon Holy Cow Mall of Asia.
Anytime we’re out I immediately go for American or Italian. Meaning burgers or pasta. Holy Cow Mall of Asia is a bit small but not crowded. It was homey and at the time we were there not too many people were dining.
They had alot of “cowboy” styled decor and you really got the home on the range feeling.
The food tasted fine. I liked the servings as it was adequate.
The Cowboy Combo Platter (Php320) was a pleasant surprise having a variety of fried food. The platter was supposed to come with fries but they weren’t serving fries so it was replaced with mashed potatoes. I was just a bit disappointed with that.
Oliver commented that the chicken was a bit burnt maybe because the oil had been reused more than it should have. Overall though, I liked the platter and not focusing on expectations it satisfied us at the time.
Bastian had the Superb Creamy Cheesy Carbonara (Php215) and for him it was just alright. He found it a tad bland but he liked that it wasn’t dry like some of the pasta that he’s had.
Kianna had the Motherload Beef Burger (Php250). It was supposed to come with a side of fries but instead came with a side of mashed potatoes. The burger itself was good. A big serving and it had a good sized patty.
We also had a side order of Mac & Cheese (Php80) but I wasn’t able to take a photo. As a huge lover of Mac & Cheese it wasn’t the best I’ve tried but like the rest of the dishes was just satisfactory.
For the prices of the dishes we chose, I’ve had tastier but I didn’t leave feeling like it was a disappointing experience. It was still a good experience to have tried it and it was made all the better having it with my family.
