Are you brand loyal? For the most part I’m not because I’m open to trying new things but once I do find something good I stick with it. Ever since I was first introduced to the Jolly Food line I found myself choosing them over other brands.
It started with their Jolly Cow Fresh Milk which the whole family loves. We used to favor another popular brand but when we got a taste of Jolly Cow fresh milk it became a household staple. We love it because it’s truly creamier than other brands and just a tad bit more affordable. Our family loves to have their milk with cereal, we use it in our scrambled eggs, and other breakfast dishes.
I love their Jolly Cow Condensada. Condensada is usually the lesser option when it comes to condensed milk but Jolly Cow’s condensada tastes like certified condensed milk. Again, we used to favor another popular brand but since we tried it this has been what we’ve been buying. We use Jolly Cow Condensada for our Milo drinks, french toast and more. I can’t wait to try it when we make fruit salad for the holidays!
My next favorite from the Jolly Food line is their Jolly Real Mayonnaise. I love mayo especially in ham sandwiches and when I tried Jolly Mayo I was blown away. I thought I had been using a pretty good brand but seriously, Jolly Mayo is the best I’ve tried. There’s none of that slight oily taste like other mayos have. You could say their mayo is almost creamy and has just the right flavor. Their bottle lasts us only about a week because I slather it on bread like’s there’s no tomorrow.
Another item we love is Good Life Oyster Sauce which is from the same company that brings you Jolly Food. The local oyster sauce that usually try is a bit salty but this Good Life Oyster Sauce packs a punch. It make a simple dish extraordinarily good. Oliver cooked string beans and sayote with just their oyster sauce and it was delicious. Delicious enough that we had it for a week straight!
On days that we don’t feeli like having rice Oliver cooks up pancit. He tried the Good Life Bihon and it made for a great and tasty dish as well.
The biggest surprise of all I think was that I was able to cook 2 (you read that right 2!) dishes all by lonesome using Al Dente pasta and Jolly mushrooms. My first dish was regular old Spaghetti. Don’t get excited I used one of those pasta sauces but I did add ground pork!
Finished product! It looks appealing if I do say so myself. 🙂
My second dish was a recipe, Creamy Mushroom and Garlic Sauce Pasta that I got from my good friend Joy of Joybites.com. I had to try it because it looked delicious in her post and was fairly easy enough for me to make. For this I used Al Dente pasta, Jolly mushrooms and Jolly Cow fresh milk. Admittedly, I burnt the garlic but it still tasted good. At least that’s what Oliver said. I’m leaning on believing him since the kids had extra helpings and asked that I cook it again. We’ll see…
Plate of white goodness…
So here you have it. These Jolly, Al Dente and Good Life products have added extra yumminess to our dishes. If you’d like to give any of these a try just drop by major supermarkets. I noticed that these were more readily available at Puregold Supermarket.

Love the pasta dishes. I am not brand conscious myself but just like you, when I tried something and find it good, I stick with it. I think I will try their pasta for the upcoming holidays 😀
I’ve always loved the Al Dente pasta and all the Doña Elena products too. Jollycow milk was surprisingly delicious. I got my first taste during the MBP Halloween party and I kept coming back for drinks, I think I drank a whole liter or more.
Oooh, we use a lot of Jolly products at home too. Actually, come to think of it, we use a lot of Fly Ace products. They’re really of good quality and the prices are not bad too.
Oh I haven’t tried this brand yet! I may try picking up their brand of milk the next time I find myself at the grocery.
pretty much hungry right now and I’m wanting to go to cartimar and get some fresh herbs for my own pasta na hahaha 😀 Yes, the Al Dente! pasta so far is great for me especially for those thick sauces kasi nag stick sya sa pasta 😀
I love Al Dente Pasta and Good Life products. In fact, we have stocks in the house para kung sakali, maubusan ako while cooking, meron akong pang back-up agad. I haven’t tried the Jolly Cow Non-Fat Milk, in fact, the one that I got from MBP Halloween Party nasa ref parin namin. Hihi.
We are also using Jolly products. We love the pasta and the juices.
I do use Jolly too like their mushrooms and kernel corn. If the other products are good and affordable, I might give them a try soon this holiday season =)

You really enjoyed those Jolly products! In fairness, have been buying Jolly products ever since we had them from Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party.
I’ve been loving all the products that I have tried so far from this brand. Loving the prices too! Cheaper than other leading brands, but definitely greater in terms of quality! 🙂
