It was a privilege to be part of the Makati Restaurant Tour organized by Will Garcia of Will Explore Philippines. Together with Raintree Restaurants 20 bloggers were invited to experience their delectable cuisine.
I had the pleasure of dining in 2 of Raintree Restauarants establishments and Museum Cafe is the first that I’ll be featuring.
Museum Cafe also known as M Cafe offers modern Asian cuisine and is conveniently located at the Ayala Museum Complex on the corner of Makati Ave and Dela Rosa Street (right next to Greenbelt 2). They have an al fresco dining area where there’s a bar.
Inside, the space is shared with another restaurant from the Raintree family, Kabila. Seating is adequate enough though I can imagine the place quickly filing up in the evenings and on weekends. The interior has unique pieces such as these. Since it was the first restaurant we were having breakfast. They offered us plenty of dishes to try. We started off with some dimsum, noodles and congee.
I enjoyed the beef congee and though the chicken noodles look like a fuller meal the beef congee has more flavor. As for the dimsum, I preferred the Crystal Prawn Dumplings to the Flower Siu Mai

When I think of breakfast I automatically think bread, eggs and bacon. The M Benedict met my expectations and of the 2 that were served I like the Jamon Excellente.

Another breakfast favorite, pancakes and waffles. These were topped with fruits such as ripe mango, watermelon and granny apple slices and served with maple syrup, butter and peanut butter. Both are yummy and I like the whipped cream and fruits combo!

An omelet station is available and if you want to put in requests they can make your order in 2 shakes.

Oh, the food look sooo good! My fave dimsum is the hakaw or the crystal prawn dumpling here. I just love shrimps! I also prefer waffles, yum! Oh, and the M Benedict simply looks scrumptious! I wish to go on food tours someday.
Looks yummy! I’m interested with Jamon Excellente. 🙂
At first, I thought the restaurant had museum pieces inside, mali pala hehe. I love how chill the interior looks!
looks like it is worth a try.. I think I’ll drag my friends for lunch here one time.. 😀
I love food! How I wish I was part of that food tour too! Will surely try to dine in that restaurant one day! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Everything just looks good! I always used to pass by that cafe when I was still working in Makati but never got the chance to try it out. Now I realize that I should have!
Been inside M cafe for drinks but have not tasted their food yet.
Wow, I love all those food, especially the egg’s benedict 🙂 I wish I can eat there someday. And the waffles too, with the fruits. Nice photos Louisa.
