I got to try this delightful and quaint patisserie when I was invited to a special bloggers meeting at the Fort. Kitchen’s Best Home Patisserie is located at McKinley Park Residences. We were situated in the function room and though it was a bit tight it made the affair intimate.
The vivid and bold interior is opposite from the usual pastel designs of other cafes and patisseries. Just as the place makes a strong impression so does the food. I got to try an appetizer, main dish, and had a dessert and shake.
Spinach Dip (Php225)
While we were waiting for other bloggers to arrive we had bread and chips with their Spinach Dip.
Chicken Pesto Panini (Php250)
I chose to get the Chicken Pesto Panini because I love Pesto. I was really engrossed in the talk being given so it was awhile before I finally got to try it. The bread had hardened but despite that the flavorful chicken pesto was delicious. I snacked on the fries during the talk.
Chocolate Obsession (Php110)
Dessert was definitely the best. I LOVE chocolate and enjoyed this rich and fudgey cake. It was once featured as one of the best dessert and cakes of 2008 in the Manila Bulletin.
Mango Shake (Php95)
The mango shake was delicious as well and refreshing.
