There was a smorgasbord of sweets at the recently concluded Yummy Eats 2014. It was just an overload of pastries, ice cream, cakes and more.
My sweet-toothed heart was over the moon about having the chance to taste and try so many different confectionery delights.
As much as possible I tried to include all the concessionaires however, if I did miss any it’s not intentional.
Here are sweet treats of Yummy Eats 2014 in no particular order.
Pouf
I love marshmallows especially that which is melted and you can dip anything edible into. I found this a tad bit expensive but they do offer flavors such as Choc Nut & Creme and Cookies and Creme. I did like that they offered spoons of pouf and on biscuits as well.
Blue Toque
I recall Blue Toque from last year and this year they had a “prettier set-up” as compared to last year’s dark set-up. They offered Belgian Cake bites for us to try.
Casa San Luis
Their salted caramel was delish not too sweet nor too bland.
Here’s my friend, Rose having a try of the Masatami Shave Ice. I’ve been hearing about this for some time now and I loved it! They gave us a pretty big serving of their Nutella flavored shaved ice.
I loved the Bunny Baker’s booth design. You instantly feel like you are on Cloud 9. It was just heavenly and their little bunny cupcakes were just too cute for words. They specialize in cakes as you can see from the Disney Frozen cake in the display.
Choclery
These bites of heaven were just too sinful. I seriously wanted to get every piece and devour them. They have interesting flavors and I noticed that chili in chocolate was a trend at this year’s food fair.
They had the prettiest cake design and offered up miniature versions of their cupcakes.
From the Kitchen of Chris
I love anything chocolatey and minty and this was definitely a winner in my book.
Cake Project
We had a try of Cake Project’s Choux Cremes (cream puffs). They also had an interesting display reminiscent of candy coated dreams.
Chooey Juwi’s
I’m a sucker for cookies and these were just overloaded. I liked how they were presented on these white serving spoons.
Merry Moo was at the fair last year and I was so thrilled to try it. I had their Sea Salt Caramel back then and this time I was able to try 2 scoops of 2 different flavors. I went for, of course, Sea Salt Caramel and Brown Butter Cookie Dough.
They had a pretty nice display but I can’t recall the sample I tried from them.
Think Wink Cookies
They had a really simple booth but their Florentines were delightful. I was hoping they had something minty but alas they didn’t have anything with them at the fair. They did have 2 in 1 cookies and were one of the most generous concessionaires giving out 3 cookies to try.
Scarsdale
I had already had a look at the list of concessionaires for this year’s fair and Scarsdale was one of the ones I was excited to try. I’m a fan of their Facebook page and see their creations on my wall which make me drool. Their display was lovely and mouthwatering!
Double Delights Polvoron and Polvoron Cupcakes
Oh Mug Goodness
Kianna has actually made cakes in a mug and they turned out alright. This was another concessionaire that I was looking forward to seeing. They have affordable cake powder packs that are microwaveable.
Rosemarie’s
I got to try a yummy macaron from Rosemarie’s.
Manna
Choco Atbp
Alchemy
Loved the pastel colors of the macarons. Got to try both!
Caprisserie
The lady giving away samples of the Dulce de Leche was so generous. I got 2 servings and the Dulce de Leche was delish!
One of the sweet treats I brought home for the kids to try.
We tried Red Velvets treats from Cookie Lab.
Cubcakes
Such cute teddy bears, my eye instantly went to these great giveaway ideas!
Another attractive booth for me because I love brownies and cookies and everything reminiscent of baked goodies from home.
Kitchen Feather
I had a try of the Caviar Cake and it was…. interesting.
Nomnomnom Happy Food
Lia’s Cakes in Seasons
I enjoyed their Calamansi Cupcakes.
Cacao de Davao
There were plenty of chocolates at the fair and as much as possible I tried to choose the dark chocolate variety.
Kool Kids
Here’s another novelty I had been hearing about. Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream. Yet again, there was chili in chocolate. This made quite an impression because at first you don’t even taste the chili but it slowly works its way in there and it’s fantastic!
I was so enamored with it I forgot to take a picture!
