I was surprised to learn that I had won a pair of Salvatos folding flip flops for my post on unboxing the May BDJ Box.

Salvatos has developed an innovative solution to every girls dilemma when wanting to wear fabulous shoes and needing comfort. It’s foldable, packable and portable.

In case you’re wondering Salvatos is a combination of 2 Spanish words, Salvar- to save or rescue and Zapatos- shoes.

I got a pair of folding gold flip flops which goes with anything. They have plenty of colors to chose from such as black, sky blue, brown, green, orange, pink, purple, red, silver, turquoise, white and yellow. You can literally have slippers for any casual outfit under the sun.

Aside from folding flip flops they also have folding Gladiators and folding Espadrilles. Will they have folding heels one day?

These portable flip flops came just in time for my trip to Metro Vigan Inn in the lovely town of Vigan. They were really put to the test as we did a whole day of touring, a kalesa tour, and visiting different landmarks.

These are very comfortable and sturdy. They seem thin but are actually very durable as proven with our long walks over pavement, rocks and other terrain.
