We had an enjoyable stay at a resort in Pampanga. My husband’s sister and her family were here for a month long holiday from the states. They hail from Sasmuan, Pampanga where you can also get the best traditional bibingka by the way!
Villa Alfredos is located in San Fernando, Pampanga and is a resort smack dab in the city. Upon entering the resort you instantly are brought into a place of lush gardens.
It’s quite large having 6 themed swimming pools, children’s wading pool, 2 jacuzzis, aviary and marine life aquarium, and a mini zoo. They have hotel rooms, deluxe rooms, cottage and family rooms. We stayed the day and got an open cottage. There were many of us and we all went our separate ways exploring the resort.
I found the resort to be clean, varied and worthwhile for the whole family. The children spent the day practically submerged in water. They would take mini breaks to eat and jump right back in. The open cottage had videoke but with hard to press numbers for choosing songs. It wasn’t the best but it worked somehow.
Since it was Christmas there were a few decorations but the one that my youngest son enjoyed was the different Santa figures. He asked to have a picture taken with each one.
There’s a small store you can go to by the entrance for drinks and some snacks. Of course it’s a bit overpriced but alright for an occasional drink and snack.
Visit their website for their rates and their contact information.
We plan on making a trip here again this year. I’d love to hear about your experiences at Villa Alfredos.
